Margot isn’t wrong. I like Six Days, Seven Nghts & I’m not a comedy person. My favorite,outside Indiana, is Frantic. I like his comedic delivery: it’s slow & dry, almost as if he is mentally slow. Great actor and as such able times get into his characters. There’s a scene in the Fugitive where he’s masquerading as a janitor at the hospital & not only does he play the part of janitor convincingly but he also manages to convey the demeanor of a person of low social standing: the pervasive insecurity they wear in their faces.
I'm reminded of a passage from the book _Harrison Ford: The Movies_ where a hive mind studio executive told Harrison that when Tony Curtis played a delivery boy, he played him like a movie star. "Stupefied, Ford leaned forward and stated that he thought Curtis was supposed to act like a grocery delivery boy - and not a movie star." That same executive, Jerry Tarkovsky, cut Harrison from his Columbia contract in 1968 saying that he didn't have a future in acting.

Actually, the original __Blade Runner__ is one of my all time favorite films. And I saw it when it first came out (👵🏻) and numerous times since. Was very excited when the newest one was announced and saw is ASAP. Loved it too. Brilliant cast.

Ryan Gosling always looks so happy to be on this show. For one of the coolest actors around he comes over as really down to earth. His reaction to Greg Davies story is still one of the best bits of chat shows ever. Up there with Freddy Starr and Muhammed Ali, and James Stewart poem about his dog (sad but so memorable).
Anne Hecht was amazing in 'Six Days Seven Nights', it was a great fun movie and I don't know why we saw so little of her after that, she should have been up there with Meg Ryan.
Six Days, Seven Nights was good because Harrison did physical comedy, similar to Indiana Jones. Contrary to Harrison's suggestions in this video clip, it was a popular movie and a financial success in 1998.
‘Legend’ doesn’t really fit Harrison, nor will it ever. ‘Vintage’ or ‘classic’ are closer, but not exactly right either. He’s more like your dad’s wristwatch from college; it’s worn and the bezel is scratched, but it’s gold and timeless (haha) and still keeps time better than any new one.

Thank God Tom Selleck turned down playing Indiana Jones in Raiders of the Lost Ark. Harrison Ford is Indiana Jones. His looks and demeanour were perfect for the part. I remember, as a 10 year old kid, seeing this when it came out and being absolutely blown away. Kids today are spoilt with choice but back in 1981 watching 'Raiders of the Lost Ark' at my local cinema was magical. Went back and watched it all over again a week later.

I remember, as a 10 year old kid, seeing this when it came out and being absolutely blown away. Kids today are spoilt with choice but back in 1981 watching 'Raiders of the Lost Ark' at my local cinema was magical. Went back and watched it all over again a week later.

I watched an interview with Elizabeth Olsen on Kimmel's show - she followed after Harrison Ford. When she came out, she was totally flustered because she had just met Ford befoe going out. She said she froze and couldn't speak - it was cute.
