I've watched some of your videos on your channel and I was wondering, what would it take for a foreigner to come and live there, I'm asking this because I would like to visit Japan some day and probably spend some more time there as well, maybe even settle there, who knows :)

okay soo ... this one time for valentines day our school organized so you could pay some cash for a dude dressed in a big heart costume to deliver a rose or chocolate to whoever you want and the cash went to charity.. so, in science class the dude who was dressed in a big heart came in and said my name. i was rly shocked and confused because a) i was a loner b) i barely knew anyone at that school. c) i wasn't your ''school crush'' material. (aka i was a big nerd who spent his time alone) anyway so i walked towards him and took the chocolate. everyone was whispering around me like ''wtf? how can HE get something but i cant?'' so naturally i was curious and proud..... but then 10 min later he came back and said he had deliver them wrong.. and thats the closest ive come to a ''giving chocolate to someone you like''-valentine ... sobs

I give you props for making chocolate from scratch. The important part is maintaining the right temperature, and then getting the correct ratio of the ingredients. The big question is, will he make you chocolate?, of just go spend big money on the really good chocolate? I admit, I like your new hair style, it looks good on you. You may also use almond extract instead of vanilla (or even almond liqueur). try making the the filled balls with white chocolate marzipan and raspberries, so yumm!

I give you props for making chocolate from scratch. The important part is maintaining the right temperature, and then getting the correct ratio of the ingredients.
The big question is, will he make you chocolate?, of just go spend big money on the really good chocolate?

You may also use almond extract instead of vanilla (or even almond liqueur). try making the the filled balls with white chocolate marzipan and raspberries, so yumm!

I was in Japan for Valentines day in 2012 and did not know about this custom and got all this random chocolate from my friends' mothers and aunts and whatnot.

I'm really impressed you made your chocolates from scratch! That's awesome! I am currently studying abroad in Japan, so I also got to try for the first time to make deco chocolates for Valentine's Day, but I decided to melt chocolate, since I have no experience baking. I am really amazed at how amazing yours turned out! They were so pretty~ And you made so many! That's awesomely amazing! :D
