Today on a very SMOOOVE episode of OFF THE RACK!…
The tempus fuginaut rants get me everytime
Sal came in like a DJ on 125.7 Smooth Jazzzzzzz
The new off the rack set looks great!!!
Maybe cuz I'm an Aquaman fan, but I loved The Lost Kingdom! It was fun!
It wasn't good, but it was very fun 😂. Had a blast. That's what a movie is supposed to do: entertain. And Entertained I was
@@russellchung3119 That's it! I think people have been conditioned with Superhero movies to expect more.
But it was exactly what i thought it would be and that worked for me!
I agree and noticed even though DC has had good movies lately like The Flash the trend is to bash and know body will deviate from said trend. I do not think it will be any different when DCU comes out. It’s not marvel so it will fail because know body gives an honest opinion anymore.
So if you’re entertained and it was fun then isn’t that what makes a good movie. Still Bad? Same trend I’ll say it’s Bad even though it was fun and entertaining
@@ericlaurie6671 The way that I look at it is if I am going to watch a movie, I want one of two things: 1) A well-written, well executed engaging good movie or 2) a fun and entertaining movie. If it's one of those two things, I walk out of it satisfied. It gets tricky when there is a well-written, well executed "good" movie that is not particularly engaging. Tarintino's Inglorious Bastards is that for me, and that's why I wasn't too satisfied with it. Then, there are movies where the plot and acting is overly egrigrously bad like Madame Web. Those aren't satisfying either.
Love the low key vibe of this episode! If every episode had this NPR tone I would be very happy!
Hearing sal talk about penguin sounded cool
I genuinely love that the one thing to get Sal out of his smooth voice was Tempis Fuginaught (however it’s spelt)
Sad I missed it, but LONG episode and I’m here for it!
This week on Off The Rack were featuring THE all-new all-different mellow fellow Sal!
The Sentential Buster gave me chills tbh. Invincible Iron man is the most underrated Fall of X book out
Wait what. I’m taken off by this NPR Comics
Great episode yall, sorry Tiff being sick, there’s sick bug def going around
I'm kind of starting to wonder where world-building ranks on Sal's priority list when it comes to narrative elements in fiction. Personally, I usually value world-building more than the individual characters or their arcs, I love going through the lore, so it's been interesting to hear things from Sal's perspective on things like this TMNT issue and Ultimate Invasion.
Sales, if you want a Tempus Fuginaut toy so damn bad, why didn't you just ask Todd if he'd make one while he was on the channel a few weeks ago?
Low-Key Sal!
Morning podcast sal easter egg 😮
I just googled We3 and...wow, that's a...wow.
We had a what if venom a few months ago that was what if the thing became venom
What if venom is a fantastic cover
Maybe people are getting mad about Tom King's Penguin book because it makes the Penguin to import to Batman's fiction history? I like the penguin but you know... he's not great. However, at least its not about Joker 😅
I bought she hulk what if and it was terrible lol waste of 5 Dollars. Literally nothing happened. 😑😑 smh disappointing
Great episode. I am looking forward to TMNT Last Ronin Reevolution #1. I was disappointed in the first miniseries. I didn’t feel like there was an honest effort to be diverse enough in terms of the characters. I’m hoping this new one employs a more progressive tone and focuses on current cultural topics like race and gender. I feel like the first miniseries was tone deaf and stuck in the 1980’s.
