JD, the Rockwood Mini Lite 2507S is the "twin" to this unit; same floorplan but diff colors and graphics. I thought it a bit frt heavy; thanks for bringing that out -- still a nice floorplan, IMO. Y'all Be Safe!
Agreed - overpriced and not from inflation. The pandemic caused high demand for trailers and manufacturers saw $$. They raised prices and no one blinked. Now as inventory is back up to near normal. Camper that were $15 k to $25 k are almost $50, 000.
@@adventureswithgnomie6553Raw material costs have risen significantly over the past 2 years regardless of peoples personal opinions on the price or pandemic supply and demand. The market will determine the final sales price as anyone with RV buying experience understands the MSRP is not the final sales price. 20-30% off the MSRP is more likely.
It's nicer smaller trailer in terms of equipment, you're getting pretty much what you want in a travel trailer (oven, TV, decent storage, full bathroom, solar, etc.) And this one looks like it has better materials and workmanship that your typical small trailer. The price is definitely on the high side though. However, it's heavy for it's size. You'd expect it to be another 5 or 6 feet long for it's weight. My F-150 (~1900 pound payload) could handle it. But at the same time there are other larger trailers with more room at about the same weight. Still though it's and attractive option for a single person or couple. You're not going sleep more than two people in this thing comfortably.
Did I miss it? Does the sofa have footrests that come out like a recliner? It looked like it when you were putting the bed down. That would be a nice addition.
I agree with you about the operational switches being at kid level. I don't like the TV being so close the the sink and stove. Also the thermostat should not be above the stove. The furnace will not run if you're cooking something. Otherwise it's a nice little trailer.
We had a 2020 Flagstaff Micro Lite. But, it wasn’t this heavy. I wanna say the GVWR on ours was like 5500lb. I HATED that front window. The damn thing broke on a trip actually. Doing a glass claim on that piece of specialty glass was a nightmare.
If it’s like the other Rockwood/Flagstaff Murphy beds the bed has to be up to bring the slide in. You can get it but the dinette blocks fridge and bathroom access. It has to be extended slightly to get by.
Way way too heavy for a not appealing floorplan. The price also is insane. I just got last month a 2021 Freedom Express 20SE, 24ft , double axle, 4200lb dry, full queen bed and well constructed, double azdel , for 20K. Very easy to tow with my Tundra V8. I remember looking at this Flagstaff unit but stopped right away when I checked its weight, tongue weight and price! Anyway, very good presentation 👍
@@LordoftheEagles I mean that’s still kinda high considering my previous camper was a 30’ bunkhouse one slide and private master bed and I got it for 19k new. These smaller campers just don’t make sense for the price. So much more can be had.
I'll be honest, I don't really see who this is marketed to. My Winnebago 2100BH weighs less then this fully loaded ~4200lbs and has double the cargo capacity.
The UVW weight is 4,744 pounds on a 21ds, and that's including the Murphy bed version
Have had seven RVs. Now have a Flagstaff 30 ft 5th wheel. Absolutely the best RV we've had, by far. Love it. 🎹🎸🎤🎷😀

35k...are they high?
Yes
Guess you have not heard about inflation.

Did I see a review from you 2 years ago on this unit? Has the unit changed much?
JD, I really would love to see your reaction to an Ember Overland 191MSL or 221MSL. I suspect you'd like them.

Ironic that he is bragging about the quality at 4:15, while on the video the valance over the big slide window is hanging crooked.

Not that I saw unless I missed something also. Thanks
Yes, the sofa has foot rests.
Doesn’t recline but does have flip up foot rests.

Front storage wasted with Murphy bed
So, this unit will be too heavy for f150 coyote with 3.55 gear ratio?
I would say so unless your going all by yourself
@@kylepokorski6045 what is my optimal weight I got to look at for this truck? Thanks for a great vids 👍
That deep slide will make kitchen and bathroom inaccessible with slide Iin during transport. Can you get in and out the door with the Murphy bed down?

34k!!!!! I paid less than that for my 34’ puma palomino with 3 slides lmfao. They are on crack
Someone put the msrp there by accident lol I hope. Sale price should be $22k new

Didn't show the other side of the passthrough. You should've for such a weird passthrough. 😠

Not sure I get the point of a trailer that should be able to be towed by an suv that is specced to not be. And expensive. Who is this marketed at?
i would Love to have this But it has a Slide sorry.
