Helen: love using recycling bits and pieces for collages. There is always so much around the home to use. Carol from California
I’m so pleased you enjoy it too Carol. It’s really satisfying using things from around the home isn’t it 🥰💕
I also have been enjoying collage layout right now....lovely design...thanks for the inspiration just got a seed catalogue in the mail so I will use that next!!

I am very new to journaling and recently come across your channel, it's great to have found someone on youtube who journals and is from the UK so the supplies you list are very easy to find! I love this idea of recycling!

Thanks Helen beautiful as always x
This was absolutely brilliant! I’ve just begun journaling nearly daily again for the first time in years. Feeling the urge to be creative and I love the idea of using recycled items. You’ve given me lots of ideas. Thanks!
I’m so happy you enjoyed the video Hannah! Thank you so much for your lovely comment and I hope you have lots of fun with your journal 🤗💕
Helen, this page was brilliant. I love that you don't need to buy any products in order to make it. And the mistake with the date is great, it is a testimony of how we all feel in these weird time. Thank you for sharing!
Dear Helen, I really loved this video. Thank you so much! Sometimes I watch videos of journaling/scrapbooking and they leave me feeling like I need to have a ton of fancy supplies in order to journal. Sometimes those videos sound like long commercials for scrapbooking companies. I really appreciate it bc even though this is intended to be an example resourcefulness in pandemic times. Some of us don’t have large budgets for supplies and this is how we regularly do our journaling/scrapbooking. 💚🧡💜
Thank you for this tutorial, it has inspired me greatly on how to use things I have at hand to create a lovely page on my Journals or Travelers Notebooks. I'm sure using this method.
I’m so happy you enjoyed it! Thank you very much 🤗💕
Hi Helen, thank you for sharing your hints and tips for using what is already in the house for journaling especially at this uncertain time. Hope you are keeping safe.

Glad you showed not to panic. I have done this same thing countless times and finally I have an extra journal insert I use just for cutting out pieces to cover up my mistakes. 😂 It works great and blends right in. Love seeing more videos from you. I do find myself keeping every piece of junk mail now more than I used to.

I love how your pages turned out. What kind of paper do you use in your insert that the coffee doesn’t bleed through?
Hello Helen, Not related to this video, but I'd like to ask you where the plastic insert in your A5-planner is from and also the plastic pocket on the inside of your cover. I used your discount code for a wonderful purchase at Start Bay Notebooks 🤗 Keep up the good work Helen: your video's are a welcome change from all the worries in the world at this moment!
Astrid Landa Thank you so much for your lovely comment Astrid ☺️ Ooh, exciting! The plastic insert and pockets are from Start Bay Notebooks too, though I’m not sure they do the pocket any more. Hope all is well with you 🤗💕
So cool😍
It might be great if you did a video about materials for journaling from everyday life 'cause not everything can be bought in some countries so I'll wait for a similar video from you) love ya ❤️😘
Anastasia Bulgakova Thank you so much! ☺️ I’m hoping to film a video, once we are allowed out and about, sharing exactly that 🤗😘💕

This is so SMART! Bubble wrap, wrapping paper and the coffee! Thanks for sharing! I’m using all of this! Have you used a fountain pen over coffee stained paper? Does it work? ❤️
M.L Thank you so much! I’m so happy you enjoyed it ☺️ As long as the coffee is completely dry, my fountain pen works fine 🤗💕
Hi Helen! As always, you’ve created something beautiful. I’m starting a new medication this week and want to record my journey but don’t know where to start. Do you plan each page in detail in terms of what you’re going to write and match your decoration to match the daily journaling or just go with the flow?
Woooww!!😘😘
Yolanda PEREZ ROVIRA Thank you!! 🥰😘
Ciao, video bellissimo, grazie 😍😘👋
Valentina Stevani Thank you so much 🥰🤗😘
Where do you keep all your recyclable stuff? I'm not privileged to have a craft room but enjoyed the demo
Thank you. I have a tub that I fill with any pieces that I might want to use at a later date 💕
@@HelenColebrook I attempted to do this yesterday came out pretty well used scraps of card stock loved writing all things I am grateful for thank you for the inspiration
@@elainehutchinson753 I’m so happy to hear that. Thank you Elaine 🥰💕
It's pretty I guess, but I don't get this. What is this a journal of? what is the function? This is nothing more than a 2nd grade art project to jot a tiny note, not a "journal" for an adult to use for minders, tracking, calendaring, scheduling and such. Why would anyone want to carry around a non-functional overly full art project. Please help me understand this time consuming, money wasting process that adult women are into these days. I don't have time or money to waste, but this is all you can find on youtube when searching for journaling now days. This is what women are becoming now?
Mzbrayzn yep and we enjoy it!
