Great job! Any chance you remember what kind of bulbs it was in the original dash? I bought a kit with blue lights but neither suits. The original had a track for a screwdriver on top but can't see any information on it. I think the Bx8 4d bulbs looks closest from what I can see. Anyone with any experience let me know. Thanks!
Between 14:15 and 15:00, when you had an LED in the wrong socket, that other socket is for automatics, which is blank in your manual car. Not much point in Mountainairsoft buying your white dials as he will want to see km/h in Spain and mph is no use to him. I can barely see the km/h subset on Corsa C dials. Good video and, yes, diodes will only work if the current flows in the right direction so it's worth testing with a little battery before reassembling.
Can you tell tool size? Is it a torx?

i'm thinking of taking my gauge cluster of but only to clean it, it's very dusty in there, especially in direct sunlight, and one thing, my power steering is out since i bought the car like 2 years ago but the EPS light never came on, so i was thinking maybe the bulb would be missing or blown out
anyways, i'm just nervous what if i break something or one of the instruments won't work again for some reason so, should i go ahead and take it apart, clean it and check the EPS bulb? or should i just live with it
Hey mate. Im wanting to do this to the corsa d but I heard you need to do an smd conversion. I'd be happy with the quality yours has come out as.
Do you think I should do the smd or not bother?

How did you install cruise control? I have a 06 combo and i already have cruise control stalk off a mervia and a dash loom from i think corsa or mervia with cruise control loom. Did you do this another way, if you could get back to me that would be amazing thanks
Not sure if it’s cos the overhead map lights are on or not, but are the red dials pretty much invisible at night for you? They look lit up for you, but not sure if it’s the overhead lights or not. I’ve essential done the same mod but my red needles are really difficult to see when driving at night.

I've done this, now my Temperature Needle doesnt work anymore, did i break the motor behind it?
It is a possibility or maybe the needle is pushed on too far, you need to leave a gap between the needle and the sheet so it can move. Take it off and just push it on lightly👍🏻
@@GeorgeAusters we had it on super lightly we could push it around easily, and yet it didnt spin... weird.
