Huge respect to your Dad! I have 2 Pandas, both 1.1s and they are incredible. In fact, I drove 30000 miles in one last year! You can have so much fun at low speeds / in town etc. Don't sell the other one, keep them both! I hope this features on your channel again!

I have a 2007 1.3 70hp Panda and I love it first car and great fun. I've blasted it through the black mountains and priseli mountains in Wales with my mate in his Astra. It's such a blast, and I will never get bored of overtaking cars and seeing their faces being shocked by them.

I approve massively of the Panda love. My mum had a 1.2 in the same colour. Fantastic little cars, very practical and frugal on fuel. Being familiar with the Panda 1.2 helped me choose to buy the 100HP. Would recommend a small rubber mat of some sort for the dashboard as it has the tendency to fire out anything in it in right handers.

I love these cars so much. as a kid my grandma had one, and for the short period of time when i first started to learn to drive and she hadn’t sold it i drove it for a bit and it was so fun. The classic ones are one of my dream cars and now that i’m in a position to start to take lessons again and be able to actually afford a car the panda is up there for me for a first car. I love them, they’re cheap to buy run and insure, and they’re relatively available. in fact there’s 3 of them for sale under £1000 in my area right now!! Love the panda so much.

Very nice - just bought a 59 plate 1.1 eco Active myself a few weeks ago to sit next to my own broom yellow Sei sporting so I'm right with your choices! Been very impressed with how much of a "proper car" feel the Panda has - with a succession of old Pandas and a couple of Seicentos behind me now I just assume that a small Fiat comes with a few squeaks and rattles but this one just hasn't, even with nearly 100k on the clock. These are great - the Alfa specialist garage I use for servicing has them as courtesy cars - they’re tremendous fun. The garage also have the later Pandas (the ones with the oval dials) as courtesy cars, which are a bit odd, and not a nice car to drive - I was constantly worried about running out of grip. Was considering buying a 100hp model recently, but bought another Alfa (Giulietta) instead.

@Redline Rich Just offloaded my Scenic - not a bad car - 1.6 petrol doing 37mpg but was basically a series of electrical faults travelling together in close formation. I wanted a Panda but got distracted by a 59 plate Matiz with just 11.5k miles on it. So I have gone all Hubnut and am now piloting a Matiz. Panda will feature before too long though as the Mrs is eyeing it with real envy. She had one previously - currently drives a bargain Hyundai Atoz with under miles on it but the Matiz has taken her heart

Mine's a 2010 1.1 in blue, just wish mine had air con! Nice to drive and easy to fix, which is good as I've had to fix a lot on mine! 27000 on the clock and I've had to do rear shocks, front suspension arms, nsf window regulator and a few other bits, although it breaks a lot, I still love it. Great grandfather bought it new and only used it for shopping so it only had 12k on it when I got it, real barebones model, didn't even have a 12v socket! Now I've added wind deflectors, soundproofing and a new head unit it's a really nice car for the motorway and I plan on driving it until the wheels fall off.

Hi Again . after an anti roll bar drop link reposition . The lower wishbones front bush bolt needs the full front panel removal to gain access to the bolt .. Imagine my shock . with the front bodywork removed .the lower crash cross member clearly showed that this 2021 16,000 miles mint looking beauty had been involved in a fairly heavy front impact . A quick call to the garage in Beja requesting details of the accident and repairs . And unsurprisingly the salesperson .. A nice friendly guy . insisted that the Panda had never been involved in any crash damage . I sent him photos of the crushed lower cross member Explaining that the local GNR (Police) had told me to speak with the selling dealer . I received a hasty email offering to pay for the accident damaged cross member and have it delivered to my home in Alvito Portugal. Whoever repaired the Panda did a super cosmetic repair which was let down by not replacing the squashed / damaged .lower steel cross member . I still love my Panda and am keen to test drive it with the anti roll bar links shortened and connected to the lower suspension control arm . I am almost 100% convinced that the weird Fidgety steering will have gone .

I used to have a 2009 Panda 1.2 ECO Dynamic. I sold it because of the rear subframe/axle being wildly misaligned, causing knocking and excess wear on the nearside rear tyre. Apparently many Pandas came out of the factory like that. Tolerances were so slack that many were well outside acceptable limits. I'm thinking of buying a Panda in Feb/ March 2021 when my Ford Ka MOT is due, which it wont pass, sadly, as extensive rust!!! But I'm also looking at a VW Beetle. My budget is around £1,000. I'm a hippy chick so Panda looks a bit more granny like, which I'm not. But, I need a cheap car to run n be reliable. Tough call?

I wonder how the Fiats doing 6 months later. I’m sure you take a lot of care of your cars.

@@MillerCorner Yeah I’m interested. Soon I’m gonna start learning to drive when we are not in lockdown, and when I pass I’m gonna be looking for a fiat panda 1.1 aswell. Your review of it had gave me a lot of interests. This car is so cool and cheap to run, when I get mine I might put a sat Nav in it to replace the radio. Just Incase I need to go a bit of a journey.

If you don’t get stuck behind a Qashqai at least once a day you’re not driving in the UK 😂🙈

Reg check suggests that's actually a 1.2 70hp version of the Panda... Great video though. I love small, cheap little cars. I can sympathise with the road tax issue, I pay £565 for a year on my Citroen!

I would love a Panda but wife and family gave 👎so ended up with pug 308 great car apart from vague gears £0 road tax. Daughter bought Chrysler Ypsilon, Panda underneath great wee car suspention a wee bit soft but we'll appointed car nice smooth engine. Only gripes are hand break and gearstick broke I don't think the biwden cable used in manufacturing were up to scratch. But like the panda £30 road tax and because of snobby motoring press reviews very cheap to buy Why the listing over rusty German cars in the motoring press?

The original Panda of around 1980 was more fun but more utiliterian. I owned a later 1988 Panda 1000CL for 14 years. Ideal for city use. Cheap to run etc. Some amusing Panda videos of the original version can be found at Centro Storico Fiat. One example:

I had one last year good little car. 1.1 was rather underpowered. That 1.2 69 bhp will be much better

panda is quite nice car but ... fiat idea of lifting up a gearing was terrible , that + pedals too close to themselves and for me and many others it's undrivable for longer distance cause you have to bend your legs in wird ways :[
