In this tightly written Noiresque Thriller, a suave diamond dealer is trapped by a complex web of false truth.
That was a really good one!! Thank you, Pizza!!😊
Hi Kathleen 🍕Thanks for watching PizzaFLIX May the Sauce be with you 🍕
@@PizzaFLIX Hi, Pizza! I'm one of your biggest fans.😊.
The story was written by Max Ehrlich (1909-1983), who went on to craft many bestselling novels. One of them was “The Reincarnation Of Peter Proud”, which was made as a feature film in 1975.
Being filmed in West Germany 1951 so soon after WWll explains A LOT haha thanks as always for posting😅
Pretty interesting movie, good acting and dialogue. The plot was not bad, I enjoyed watching. Thanks for posting this.
Just in time for the second showing, again. Talk about an international man of misery.
As usual something different (even in noir) and worthwhile. Thanks PizzaFlix.
Yippee, I'm looking forward to watching !
You really get me with these flicks! Now I'm truly enjoying my weekend. Thanks again PF! 🌹😘
Excellent💯 film .
Love the foreign locale, good movie too. Fast moving film, thank you!❤
Great film. Lots of atmosphere and tension. Thanks!!!
Great film!
5 minutes in and I am lovin it already low budget and it is better than any new lousymovies of today with talentless actors its lookin great thankyou pizza flix
Rockin good news 🍕🍕🍕
Take your word for today’s movies. Last first run I saw was Patch Adams in ‘96(?). I’ve seen some Denzel movies on tv and maybe a few others but can’t remember. No Netflix or any of that stuff, don’t know others, if any.
@@petegregory517 same for me wont even get cable just good old movies on utube that I never watched thank-you for your reply have a great day wherever you are out there in movieland
I didn’t think I’d like it, but I certainly did! Thanks, Pizza Flix! ♥️👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
@@deborahleone4351 hard to dislike these wonderful old movies
The amazing dancing woman at 32:12 and the Ramsay Ames' steamy song performance at 33:45 were my favorite parts of this film.
The ending was the best part of the entire movie, lol.
A stupid, fatally flawed film. What is remarkable is the dancer, the essence of female beauty.
Looking forward to seeing this
i love noir, Roll that film 🎬🎥🥂🧓

PS Happy Good Friday Everyone !
Good movie but I was expecting a more devious motivation, like a ring of diamond thieves. But maybe framing your foreign boyfriend is more devious...
Fun Friday evening flick….thanks….
Very entertaining thank you from Ireland 🇮🇪
Thanks - I guessed it right.
That was a great movie. Thank you.
The best part of this m9vie is 32:10 - 33:48
NOIRESQUE! And a good one at that. Munich has sure changed in 70 years. Thanks PF
Thank you. 🍕
Great movie, though the warehouse scene with the thugs seemed superfluous...
I personally can't abide superfluidity, superfluousness and most offensive of all superfluocity. I'm glad I got that off my chest. I feel better now.
I'm Here! Beer and popcorn!
Delicious!
Thank you! Ramsay Ames (Marlene) reminds me a bit of Ava Gardner.
if only this was Lola Montes, the film....lol
[Circus opening]
"The Lion and Tiger may be stronger ~ but the Wolf does not perform in the Circus"
🐺 🦊 🐺 🦊 🐺
Worth watching for the cinematography and Lee Bowman. Thank you.
What happens when you’ve been sacred half to death twice in a row??? ☠️☠️☠️😱😱😱😅😅😅
Yes a time when beauty was class and nor trash!
Wilhelm? He thought he was a real swinger ...until he wasn't.
Dear Flix, It's so nice to see your Visage as you describe today's video fare. 👀Nice to know who is pulling us all into video intrigue and escape!! 😳 Your delivery is mysterious and curious.🧐 A win!👍
Hi Patricia 🍕I'm probably the last person who should be doing these intros... but there's no one else 🍕Thanks for the kind words of support🍕
I love anything with Eva Probst!
Light,,, but not a bad little show! Enjoyed it !
why did they slap each other when they met? was that some sort of an old fashioned handshake for that era?
Probably a German thing
Phony laughter. Heh heh, heh heh 😏 😊🤨🤨🤨🤪🤪🤪🙄🙄🙄
"You Cheap .......ACROBAT!!!"
Well, that's that!
Fir$t 🤠
well done.
Quite a Dancer at the club.
Danke fur das Hochladen sehr intressant
Yeah, you cheep acrobatic. 😅😅
Funny 🍕I was just thinking about that line🍕so great 🍕
I never heard of princess films, the directors or producers, any of the actors, or even the name of this movie.... But I have been entertained for an hour and did enjoy it🎉
Thanks!
Thanks Mr.Blaze🍕
I liked the dramatic handcuff at the end; best part of the movie.
The torch singer at 33:45 is a shameless ripoff of Billie Holiday.
Railroaded like LHO .Framed. A patsy.
This is going to be good. My Spidey senses are tingling.
Decent.B-. Thank you.
He forgot his wife
John Bowman seemed a good actor, can't understand why I didn't see him in other roles.
Ever seen "Love Affair" (1939)? He played Kenneth Bradley.
Auwell
Thx P F !
"NOIRESQUE" ?? Too French!
The word “noir” is FRENCH for “black” or “dark.” It was first applied to Hollywood films by FRENCH critic Nino Frank in 1946.
@@PizzaFLIX Yes I know. I speak french. And "esque" is from the french, meaning “like” or “resembling". I was just jokingly pointing out that 2 french parts of one word sounds even MORE pretentious in english ;)
