Love the Countryvibe of Dancing In The Moonlight. The concept behind Loving You of the band paying tribute to their fans which transcend ages and genders is fantastic and the result is truly anthemic. The video rocks too.
Thanks for posting. Interesting interview. Was interested to hear what Michelle said about her singing, in particular, and Ryan knowing to wait and resend material to Michelle when she's feeling different from the first occasion, was most amusing. It's a good, even album, and Loving You grew on me the more I heard it, but Desire would be my choice of song from the album. As with Hurricane, I heard it on YT played at a gig before it was released and liked it straight away. 😊
Thanks for posting. Being part of this growing world wide wave of fans, seeing them grow, age, play, i'm just loving them more and more. Ill be seeing them for the 3rd time in 2 years.
I’d love, love, love to hear them cover a Metric song. Especially the song…wait for it…”Front Row”. I also think if Cannons stays on the path they’re on they’ll be absolutely massive. I saw them live and they’ve got “it”. I’m already hearing them everywhere. Great video!
Great interview! Long time fan - finally saw Cannons in Mesa on Dec 13th. So many great songs on the newest album- I'd have to go with Desire (esp the part "Here's the thing...", Sweeter ("on another road...", or Can you feel my heart (old school sound). They were incredible live 🙂
Your music is the best. It sounds better than the top 40. Some of the songs in the top 40 sound cheesy, like kid's rhymes. Yours is adult and the mood is always sexy in your music. People, adults, like to feel sexy all day. there are things that make us feel this way, like sex or people who love you. Your music brings that sexy mood to nibble on...
@@cmac9900 It seemed to be forever before it came out last November. I don't think it was rushed, but I don't think the collaborations worked as well as they seemed to say, and maybe the number of people involved ended up diluting something of the sound, and perhaps impacted how long it took to get the end product. I don't think it is a bad album, but it's not as good as Fever Dream, and that's a little disappointing. I think the album was better than I feared it would be, because I didn't think the singles were that strong (again, not as good as those from Fever Dream), but having heard the album, it flows nicely, and the singles were the right ones to release; it's just that overall, it's more an album of good songs that go together pretty well, but lacked something like "Hurricane", or its 'opposite', "Goodbye" (which should have been a single). After this one, I'm hopeful the next one will be better - but I still say there are no bad songs by this band.
I got to reunite with Cannons to talk about their new album 'Heartbeat Highway.' What's your favorite track?
Sweeter 🫶

You should have asked them why they release their music on vinyl but not CD...
I love their professional yet casual attitude. As well as their chemistry with each other.
such a rad band!

I love interviews like this. Excellent questions. I learned more about them here than I usually do with most interviews

Loving You is a Masterpiece, The Whole Album is Spectacular. I couldn't be any more of a fanboy.

Their new album is ok, but not very ok
Agree I wasn't too impressed with it and I'm a huge fan. You can tell they didn't have a lot of time to write. It felt rushed.

Wow. She's much more attractive when she sings vs when she talks.
