they gave up the twist in the trailer itself. so you don't need to watch unless you're curious as to the fate of the family at the end.

I saw a version with a couple of Dutch actors (I'm Dutch) a little while back. This is the exact same version with different ones. Literally the same scenes here. And the trailer spoils the movie pretty bad.

I confess that I never watched the original. I saw the clip of Agnes losing her tongue, and that was enough, but I am sure the boy didn't show Agnes what those psychopaths did to him, never mind his parents.
Looks like going to be a great new horror movie speak no evil a family gets tormented by another family in the country side James McAvoy can play great characters in movies any genre he played ok as professor X in new X-Men films he played the crazed schizophrenic in split and glass played a top role the last movie was it chapter 2 playing the survivor victim of Pennywise back in 2019 hasn't done a great film for a horror movies and any genre this looks promising and interesting James McAvoy playing an evil bad guy in a new movie speak no evil looks interesting coming out early September this year

Most film and tv has some degree of DEI in it. For example, the Little Mermaid remake. Another DEI trope is the tough take no sh*t female hacker that can handle herself. We all know hackers are middle age white males that are slightly over weight and awkward.
