      It was tough but we survived. And now we are paying taxes to make up for it!

    Very informative vid , I've also seen a similar mod but you put a tyre valve in the breather opening , connect your compressor to it and pressurise the jerry can .
    Thanks for posting mate.

      I might look at that for another jerry can mod. It would also keep the dust out if it was pressurised!

    What about adding quick disconnects for the water and electrical? Hello and God bless you and your family

    Hey mate, this is cool. Another method would be threading a tube onto the tap bung. You can then put an inline pump on the tube and a tap or shower head at the end.

      I made some changes and added a threaded tap on the end so that I can have a tap or shower - ua-cam.com/video/oidRIHNbvas/v-deo.html

    What’s the typical run time of the 5 gal from full to empty ? I don’t know what the gpm or liters per min is for your specific style is. Thank you

      to be 100% honest, I have never emptied the jerry can completely via the pump so not sure. I think that the flow rate on the pump is 4 litres per minute on full flow

      Free as the birds mate. No more lockdowns, masks or travel restrictions. Or if you're asking about the jerry can, it's working fine but the switch needs replacing. 😉

      Thanks! The switch died while I was out camping this weekend past so now I need to find a replacement that is still waterproof.

    Add a filter/purifier from The Thirsty Nomad and you will have safe water wherever you go.

      That's a pretty expensive upgrade for a jerry can but definitely worth it if you plan to go off grid for extended periods.

    Where can I buy this kind of pump system?

    • @KOTW.Adventures
      @KOTW.Adventures  Рік тому

      Most camping shops will have a 12V shower that you can convert.

  • @howeid

    how hot can you heat the water, in the jerry can?

    • @KOTW.Adventures
      @KOTW.Adventures  2 роки тому

      The jerry can is plastic so you can't really heat it. You can buy metal jerry cans that you could put on a fire but I guess you could pour some boiling water into the plastic jerry if you wanted a hot shower.
