During the week our boat launches generally aren't that busy and most of my fishing is from the bank and most the bass im catching is right there at the launch by the docks here soon though i just bought a boat and am about to be able to actually get on the water i can't wait 😊😊😊
I was lucky, my parents bought a lake cabin on a small northern minnesota lake just 1 cabin from the access. In 24 years every boat that put in that had fishing rods. Got their boat in the water, loaded their gear, parked their vehicle, climbed into the boat and rocketed off to the far side of the lake. So I always fish within 100 yards of the lake access. Fishing is GOOD!
The lakes around me have small marinas. No docks outside of the launches and zero shore cover. They're deep, over 100' in the deepest areas. Large granite boulders and piles. Sparse brush, no piles. Rip rap dams. One main river channel that may or may not have running water. Less than a handful of creeks. No grass. Some submerged timber. How would you approach them?
Suggestion for a video. Fishing educate and respect for other anglers such as boats crowding bank anglers and bank anglers casting at boat's. Plus boating education. Great video btw.
I often cast at boats if I'm fishing from shore. They don't care that I've been fishing there for the past 15 minutes, they just roll up and act like they own the lake. Sometimes I'll even throw rocks in if I just don't like the person.
Exactly right, Dude in a '77 triton, throwing a cream worm pre rig, weighs heavy bag and biggest fish never left more than 100 yards from the ramp. Preach
Getting that first clue can help you ESTABLISH a pattern for the day. can help you FORMULATE the days pattern? Am I close? Trying to determine what word you were searching for in this video. Just trying to help. No shade whatsoever. I'm 58 and probably won't ever be half the angler you seem to be. 👍🇺🇸

Tyler catches a fish within 45 minutes on a new lake. I can't get a fish in that time on a lake I fish every week for years.
I hear you

First determine are there actually bass in the lake. If so, fish the snot out of those few features/structures.
Never underestimate the value of retreads. If tournaments are held at the ramp there’s fish there.

Completely agree. Boating/angling etiquette and boating safety would be some killer topics. 👍🇺🇸

Go to docks ,fish are always around docks. Nothing intimidating about them. At a new lake? Start there.
