How to Install Press In Hinges

Blum press in hinges are a great choice for MDF or Laminate doors with an MDF core. The insert holds better in MDF than wood screws over time. In this video, Dan shows us how to install press-in hinges using a "knock in" tool or simply a scrap of wood.

8mm is the drilling size for the dowels and 35mm for the hinge cup

Yes, I would recommend the press-in dowels only for MDF / laminate doors, and I would use wood screws for hardwood doors.
