why would you throw those back? if you want any fish worth eating you have to remove all the mudfish.they gobble up all the bream,bass,catfish thats why they have bite marks on each other they are running out of food. plus you can catch the same mudfish over and over again in the same day. they feel no pain

The bowfin is a living fossil and has been around for millions of years. They can survive where other fish can't. Like a small pond in the woods.

I've got a million places to catch fish to eat this one pond in the middle of nowhere ain't hurting nobody. there ain't nothing else in there anyway
And I used to think they would run outa food to but it's been 7 years since the first time I fished it and there still all fat
