The Louisville Cardinals couldn’t keep up the offensive pace with the Ole Miss Rebels, losing their opening game 43-24. Cardinals quarterback Malik Cunningham led the way with 191 passing yards and a passing touchdown, plus 79 rushing yards and 2 touchdowns on the ground. Louisville TE Marshon Ford led the Cardinals receiver with 50 yards receiving. Ole Miss QB Matt Corral threw for 381 yards and a touchdown and added 55 yards rushing and a rushing TD.
