I had this idea for business purposes years ago. Portmore Community College used to have classes in containers when I was a student in very late 90s....all Ac in dem. I guess I was inspired by that.
I was laughed at years ago. Now I'm full force on this concept!!!
Let me congratulate you on your nice little home. Here is a #suggestion you could get something to cover the sink just to temporarily create additional work space during meal preparation.
Love how this idea was big in Africa first and once people saw how lovely, stackable and affordable they can be its taking off in Yard. I've seen a small grocery store, boutique shops, apartment/row houses, stand alone homes, offices and also a training center/meeting hall in West Africa majority in Ghana, a few in Nigeria, South Africa and in Mozambique/Malawi somewhere I think.
These units can also be made of 1, 2, 3 or even more shipping containers stacked, extended, welded and arranged at many different dimensions and angles even with roof decking/gathering space and designed with nice pools and gardens surrounding, car ports, garages and even outdoor spiral or custom stair cases. This trend is a wonderful idea. But u must be sure to purchase the proper non-toxic, insulatable, durable kind of shipping container that did not previously haul toxic waste barrels or medical waste or something.

My husband suggested a container house some time ago but I couldn't wrap my head around it due to the perceived heat magnet it appeared to be. I love your use of space and your gadgets. Good going. Put most of the dishes in the cupboard. Only leave out the dishes and mugs that you use daily.
Your container home is coming along great. This would make great spaces for Airbnb when visiting Jamaica for a short visit.

😟Where in downtown did you get the dish drainer?
I love to see how your little house is coming along very nice. I feel you should leave that microwave on top of the refrigerator. If you leave the microwave in the corner you will not be able to push the buttons and open the door comfortable. Underneath that shelf where you had a microwave on the left remove the microwave and try and put a dish dryer where you can drill it underneath the shelf
Or hang the shelf over the refrigerator, is another suggestion.

Love shopping downtown if I have the time. For the stove, you can try an induction cooktop that can be mounted directly into the counter top (saves space).
Electric stove dear in Jamaica unless yuh have solar.

For the towel rack, you could also put it inside the cupboard door so you have additional space to pass through.
Simple living is truly the best way to go in these times!

I remember I bought a COMPACT DISC [CD] in Jamaica and the store manager did not exchange or refund my item. I think Jamaica should change its policies of return and exchanging items. Because Jamaican people don't have it. Everybody is struggling to make a living. The governments don't even care. But when election comes around them want you to vote for them. I am here in Florida and that's going to be my dream home.. I want to say congratulation again and happy birthday. Oh one more thing I want to implement I did not like where you put the microwave. I think it's too high at your height the microwave should have been underneath the cabinets above the stove it would have been perfectly fitting there. If you need to put stuff in the cabinets you could get like a step stool if the cabinets be higher. Overall where the microwave is too high sorry..🙏🏽

Great job on your home renovation . Maybe you can do another one and rent or sell to bring in additional income. A little tip I put my towel rack inside of the cupboard door so my doors are not hidden in the kitchen and it looks neater, try it and see if it works for u. Especially when u have guest coming over. 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
I have a burning question. Why is the microwave shelf so far up? Do you have to climb a stool to use it? And it seems to not be able to open as it is there. You have to draw it out a bit. So now, when you take your plate out....how do you get it to the counter top...do you climb down with it? Hmmm😒
Hey Roch, you sure the width of the dish drainer isn't adjustable? Double check you may be able to adjust the width for one sink or two
