With the leverage advantage this doesn't add up to 850 lbs of force on the handles. If it did, he wouldn't be able to move it because his bodyweight plus the dumbbell attached to him wouldn't be enough to counter the weight. In other words, if you put 850 lbs on a seesaw close enough to the fulcrum anyone can move it. (To be clear, few people on earth are as strong as Brian Shaw, not throwing shade, just saying the load isn't an apples to apples comparison to Levan's performance to anyone who understands physics, unless I'm missing something.)
You see his feet lift off the ground when he pushes, though. I don't see any straps holding him down, but his feet are definitely leaving the ground and the weight stays controlled, so that tells me he's held down somehow.
@@Darion350 Nope I don't think he's held down by anything but his weight. If he's floating a little bit, that's probably because the actual load is a little less than whatever he weighs plus the dumbbell. I have a dip machine at my gym and I have to actively try to stay in the seat when I do 165, and I weigh 240+. The edge of his dumbbell may have been catching on the seat for a rep or two, but the load was just less on the handles than 850. Easy to even just see at a glance, because the 200 lb dumbbell on the machine closest to him doesn't even move half the distance against gravity as the far edge of the plates. That's leverage for you. More than I can do, whatever it is, but it ain't 850.

If Brian was dipping more than his Bodyweight he would be pressing himself up rather than the weight down. His top set of dips was lighter than his Bodyweight plus the dumbell still probably in the low-mid 500lbs but not 800 because the machine gives mechanical leverage.
Give Brian like 5 years of training and smaller competition perhaps he can become a decent competitor but I dont see him coming close to beating Levan even then.
Thing with Brian is he is so strong, and his work ethic is so good, he might not be at levans level in some lifts or movements YET, but he could get damn close, real soon i reckon.
2:27 800 pounds of machine dip but can’t do body weight dips 😂. Larry Wheels can bench much more than Eddie, Thor and Brian yet he couldn’t budge Levan even with his entire body. Strongman and powerlifting strength is not the same as arm wrestling strength. Kirill Sarychev destroys even Larry in bench press but he still lost to Levan even while using both arms. Brian will get rekt by the heavyweights and he’s not catching up to anyone that easy especially Levan 👌
Levan can't muscle up but can do pull ups Brian can't pull ups but can press/ lift huge weights But in his prime Denis can do everything pull ups muscle upp lift /press heavy weights if Denis could not have suffer injuries and was healthy till date than levan could have been pinned long time back

Of coarse levan is being armwrestling specific and Brian isn't, levans an armwrestler....there will be certain lifts Brian does that will beat levan and certain armwrestling specific lifts were levan will be better but until Brian starts doing those specifics we won't have a clue we're he is, I don't think your comparison here shows anything, let's see them one arm curl or cheat/strict curl or maybe the devon lifts all for max now that would tell us allot!
While that comparison is not comparable lol it's not a surprise that Brian is strong as fuck, he can probably armwrestle backwards and still beat a lot of people, all his muscles are strong
FFS to pick up 800 pounds like this you need to weigh 800+ pounds yourself because in other case it will lift you up. There is fucking lever. The only way you can lift that much weight in dips is putting the additional weights on the belt and doing the actual dips with this - then you are lifting your body weight + additional weight. This pushing machine is BS. It’s really basic physics
Ermes was able to stop Levan on the fourth round. Brian and Ermes are not comparable. Brian's strenght in arm wrestling is not far behind those champions especially when coached by Devon 💪
I know a lot of the hardcore arm wrestling fans are like Brian isn't going to compare or it's going to take him years. I'll put it this way like Devon said Brian's going to be the strongest dude to ever compete in arm wrestling. Apparently a lot of you guys don't understand that. And he's not a bodybuilder or any type of bullshit strength athlete. Brian is the Michael Jordan of strongman. Four-time world's strongest man and he's super smart and methodical. Once Devon gets a hold of Brian it's a wrap for everyone.
Overall, Brian is stronger. But he will still need to learn to be strong for AW, and to prepare tendons. This will take time even if he's probably the most dedicated strength freak ever produced.
@@champs998 not a chance dude. Stop making stuff up. Levan has curled 365 with mild cheat form for a few reps. I haven't even seen Brian curl 225 lol... Levan has benches nearly 600. Brian has done mid 5s.
This literally means nothing, carrying more weight or being heavier won't help you against a Top 10 heavyweight or super heavyweight, Devon beat Thor, being 25 kg lighter and winning easily, Brian would need 3 years in minimum and solid 5 years in total, but we're not sure if he'll be able to combine all his forces, I bet he'll be a very difficult guy to beat if he invests seriously in this, but I don't know, he's already well off, will he? Would he step out of his comfort zone to try out a new sport? we'll see.
do you understand what you're talking about? Do you know from physics what a lever is? Brian works on a deer machine, works while standing! No one and nothing holds him up except the weight of his body! If the resistance was greater than the weight of his body, then he simply would not stand still! With his weight now being about 175-180 kg, the load is no more!
just saying...he's not doing 700 lb Dips...He can't do 700 lb dips... the first weight he used might be 700 in plates but REAL WEIGHT is just about exactly his BODYWEIGHT as you can tell by him pressing down and slightly coming up on his toes. The 2nd weight he counter weights himself so if he weighs 400 lbs, he's actually only pressing about 500... LOL I said ONLY at 500 lb dips :P that's insane. just not 700 or 800 (the angle of the handles and leverage of the bar reduces the actual weight)
Brian Shaw is not just bigger than levon, if they were both 100% natural Shaw would still be the bigger guy by alot, he will always be big, whilst someone like levan can shrink immensly in a few years.
If Brian commits to armwrestling like he did in strong man. Goodbye undefeated Levan. Brian Shaw will humiliate him. Honestly. If Brian gets really good. Levan will retire before getting squashed. Mark my words.
Levan couldn’t even farmer carry 250 pounds. Shaw is an actual strength athlete not sure why people are comparing lifts. Arm wrestlers are just strong doing one motion lots of powerlifters lift more weights than them.

Thing with Brian is he is so strong, and his work ethic is so good, he might not be at levans level in some lifts or movements YET, but he could get damn close, real soon i reckon.
in that train they actually break triceps machine just before that moment
24 reps, 170 pound😮 thats kinda crazy yeahh
The odds is low but I hope Shaw wins, just to see Levan be outweighed for once 😂
Brian need atleast 3-5 years of professional training before even fighting in his weight category.
Brian is coming to take over and, to be GREAT.
Except he won't
I wanna see Brian train his biceps
when brain and levan will rival at arm wrestling then we will see who is stronger
❤❤❤
The intro😂😂
2:27 800 pounds of machine dip but can’t do body weight dips 😂. Larry Wheels can bench much more than Eddie, Thor and Brian yet he couldn’t budge Levan even with his entire body. Strongman and powerlifting strength is not the same as arm wrestling strength. Kirill Sarychev destroys even Larry in bench press but he still lost to Levan even while using both arms. Brian will get rekt by the heavyweights and he’s not catching up to anyone that easy especially Levan 👌
Levan can't muscle up but can do pull ups
Brian can't pull ups but can press/ lift huge weights
But in his prime Denis can do everything pull ups muscle upp lift /press heavy weights if Denis could not have suffer injuries and was healthy till date than levan could have been pinned long time back
Levan isn’t out lifting Brian sorry. Yeah he can dominate on the table but not in the weight room.
everytime brian dips the planet moves downward a little
You know, people talk about size of hand and wrist. But look at Travis Bagent. He certainly was never known to have a big hand or wrist. But his open arm top roll was far known as being one of the best, also fast. If Brian can get there, rip levan
being strongest, with best top roll, and super fast? Any else on wishlist? Or you think that's enough on insanity scale? I would also add highest stamina, highest IQ on the table, then Levan for sure will not stand a chance!
Brain should learn the press like Kamil. He would be unstopable with that massive height.
Levan is a best, he is a king
I'm as close to beating Brian at arm wrestling as he is to beating Levon.
They only live looking for, pretext... who can beat Levan, I have to admit that Devon lost in his prime so DON'T LOOK FOR EXCUSES FOR WHAT HAPPENED THAT PAST APRIL 20. THEY LEAVE WIN AND PERIOD.
I must state that the difficulty of these two exercises is different
Its better to see how Brian does against Konstatine first. I bet Konstatine will make him struggle though he is not an armwrestler.
Shaw is a giant, a freak of nature, that said he has no chance to beat Levan, nobody has. Levan will lose only to time, but it will came sooner than later.
Eddie Hall has to get arms to join too
Denis muscle ups are out of this world
While that comparison is not comparable lol it's not a surprise that Brian is strong as fuck, he can probably armwrestle backwards and still beat a lot of people, all his muscles are strong
Levan doing dips looks weird 😂
There's no doubt that Brian Shaw is strong ASF, but it will take time for him to learn the techniques of arm wrestling before he becomes a force
Brian is not doing any dips.
Brain bear by his body weight, levan do Real dips. But brain never win against levan if he dont wanna break his wrist yourself
Overall, Brian is stronger. But he will still need to learn to be strong for AW, and to prepare tendons. This will take time even if he's probably the most dedicated strength freak ever produced.
It’s a leveraged machine vs a Dip…. Not the same thing at all
Levan is going to be stronger when it comes to arm wrestling specifics. However, Shaw is without a doubt stronger just about everywhere else lol
Levan benches and curls.more.
@@robertwilliams5618 Brian Shaw has done more in both bench and curl than Levan best.
@@champs998 not a chance dude. Stop making stuff up. Levan has curled 365 with mild cheat form for a few reps. I haven't even seen Brian curl 225 lol... Levan has benches nearly 600. Brian has done mid 5s.
Dude Brian is twice as strong as levon .. wake up
This literally means nothing, carrying more weight or being heavier won't help you against a Top 10 heavyweight or super heavyweight, Devon beat Thor, being 25 kg lighter and winning easily, Brian would need 3 years in minimum and solid 5 years in total, but we're not sure if he'll be able to combine all his forces, I bet he'll be a very difficult guy to beat if he invests seriously in this, but I don't know, he's already well off, will he? Would he step out of his comfort zone to try out a new sport? we'll see.
they should have brian shaw arm wrestle devon see if he can beat him
You have to be joking
Now compare back pressure with a multi spinner haha
And Denis
do you understand what you're talking about? Do you know from physics what a lever is? Brian works on a deer machine, works while standing! No one and nothing holds him up except the weight of his body! If the resistance was greater than the weight of his body, then he simply would not stand still! With his weight now being about 175-180 kg, the load is no more!
he has weight strapped around his waist..........
Thats not 800lb dips... if it was then he would need 400 pounds extra weighing him down
Levan may injure Brian, just don't even think about it
just saying...he's not doing 700 lb Dips...He can't do 700 lb dips... the first weight he used might be 700 in plates but REAL WEIGHT is just about exactly his BODYWEIGHT
as you can tell by him pressing down and slightly coming up on his toes. The 2nd weight he counter weights himself so if he weighs 400 lbs, he's actually only pressing about 500...
LOL I said ONLY at 500 lb dips :P that's insane. just not 700 or 800 (the angle of the handles and leverage of the bar reduces the actual weight)
need 2 brians to fight Levan in armw🤣
Be great!
Brian Shaw is not just bigger than levon, if they were both 100% natural Shaw would still be the bigger guy by alot, he will always be big, whilst someone like levan can shrink immensly in a few years.
Brian is overall physically stronger but he will never be able to beat Levan because of his exp. Same goes with Levan trying strongmen stuff.
Dont try and compare overall strength with Levan, Brian is way , way, way too strong.
You should never compare machine weights and weights when working with your own weight/free weights. It's always pointless
02:26 Here you go, happy???
Levan is more powerfull
When Bryan can do the same exercise like levan, 20 reps, then i Will do bryan is more strong
If Brian commits to armwrestling like he did in strong man. Goodbye undefeated Levan. Brian Shaw will humiliate him. Honestly. If Brian gets really good. Levan will retire before getting squashed. Mark my words.
Except Brian was young when he started his strongman career. He's now 42 years old and knows AW can let to more injuries, especially at his age.
Levan couldn’t even farmer carry 250 pounds. Shaw is an actual strength athlete not sure why people are comparing lifts. Arm wrestlers are just strong doing one motion lots of powerlifters lift more weights than them.
Because, he’s never done that workout.lol
You think you can up and go lift 225lbs farmer’s walk without training?
I dont watch strongman but i checked last time shaw won was 2016. People say hes the strongest. How is he the strongest but doesnt win?
is winning 4 times not enough?
