Would you believe it that we were taught British distorted history in the then independent Malaya . Collaborators were termed good guys , while independence fighters were potrayed as villians !

A brilliant and concise speaking about such a great man sir.. sir i need suggestions regarding books on muslim rule in India. i have read books written by the British and as we know they have re written the history from their behalf. i need suggestions for objective books written on history of Indian sub continent. Jazak Allah
I advise you to learn arabic. The amount of information in english pales in comparison to that which is in arabic. And there is a lot of information about the sub continent and how they supported the sciences of hadith in arabic.
Nice brief histororical background. If Ahlul hadith don't agree that doesn't mean the hanafi are wrong. Everybody has a daleel and people have to make their judgement.
Brother Adnan, you were talking about Shias and battle of Panipat but State of Awadh (Shia state) under the command of Shuja ud Daula also sided with Afghans and Rohillas in this battle. And there was a Muslim general (Ibrahim Gardi) and Muslims in the army of Maratha. Can you please clarify this thing historical?

Brother Adnan, Taimur was a true Muslim as far as I know.
Along Emperor Aurangzeb he was one of the authors of Fatwa Alamgiri, one of the best Fiqh books

Yes please a lecture on Ahmad Raza Khan ( Barelvi ) and Mohamd Qasim Nanotvi / Rashid Ahmad Gangohi ( Deoband). That would be amazing!
