Great set of videos, really enjoy your uploads mate, well done. Would be great if you spent 30 seconds showing close up of your terminal tackle and talked through why you chose that setup for that location. Eg, straight flouro, no leader, wire tract etc. Love the small river location though, no wonder you get out 3 times a week!
I love using real light tackle as u never know what u are going to get and if u catch something of a descent size it’s much more challenging. Absolutely brilliant vid u inspire me to get out there and try similar tack ticks and ways of fishing. Good job mate 👍
Great little vid. I’ve got a 5ft 6 rod very light with small reel took it to looe cornwall on Holliday and put a small dexter wedge on it , boy did it cast far. Couldn’t believe it . So when home went to my lakes after perch and the , lures spent a lot longer in the water as it cast so far. Haven’t got any rivers or canals near so lake have too do but still catch.
Hey brother stated micro lure fishing today it was a good day had and hour spare and went to a pond near me called drinkies in Salford had a pike 2lb and 1/2 pound jack pike thanks for the channel it’s sick in a good way brother
I have a Similar Rig but with a Sprat or Smelt (Depending what they have In) And I pick up Perch, Pike, Chub, Zander as well. I just Let It drop to the Bottom and Jig It Up Fast and let drop again, Sometimes I'll do this before It Hits the Bottom again.Sort of Zig-Zag motion towards You Try It. Nice Canal.
If it's the same as mine, I think it is a Garbolino Sprint UL-C, not sure if they are available anywhere now though, because the seller I bought mine off from Ebay is out of stock now unfortunately.
Hi I know this is an old vid but do you have a equipment video, my sun goes fishing and seems to think he needs to take everything under the sun this sort of thing would sort me out for when I just want a wick dip
Boats act as cover for fish, for example fish hide under Lillie pads and trees because it provides cover, that’s why fishing near those areas tends to be better 👌🏻
Nice to see ultralight gear being used. BTW you forgot to leave the links 🤔

Just got same rod as you with a 500 reel after watching your videos. Yet to catch a fish on it yet though. 👍

Great stuff, my kind of fishing. No pressure, just having a relaxing time. Subscribed.
nice morning out, nice chub too, they seem to be thin on the ground in most canals👍🎣
Love these videos just ordered some kit to play

I go 06:00 until 09:00 on my local canal before the boat traffic gets going. Is that the little Garbolino lure rod? I bought one the same off Ebay
Peter Edwards what is the rod model

If you go on Amazon, Shakespeare do a very similar rod, just ordered one myself to try this style of fishing.
cant wait for the perch to start feeding like this again

Lol went fishing in the gulf when I was 10 and caught an amberjack that was 62 in by myself
I've just started spinning on the canal with light tackle for small Perch. Just wondering what effect the boats have on the fishing as you stated?

@@fishermanc8851 I meant the moving boats, he mentioned that the movement effects the fisn.
john moving boats might spook them
What's with the tesco bag hanging out your trouser leg ?
Grt vid fella
Getting jiggy. I got jiggy on a perch and I fell off😃🤣😂
Hey buddy nice video , don't suppose you can tell me what rod and reel set up you are using
What rod do you use for ultralight
Nice what garbileno rod is it
Class👍🎣👍
Another quality video top shelf ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Thanks matey
I envy these rivers
canals
Great video, what rod is it ??
Do you use a light trace in case of Pike ?
Not on this particular setup. With the lures being so small you loose most of the action even with in a 10lb trace and micro clip.
What line are you using ? Great vid again
It was 6lb fluro
The Ginger Fisherman cheers mate ! I must say the underwater footage has given me a real eye opener to how pike and perch behave . Keep them coming 😄
love your content! Keep it up =)
Rod/reel combo pse?
Can you send a link where you bought the jig and weight thing from?
What gear were you using
Hi What rod n reel are you using?
Hi, what fishing rod are you using ?
Great vid any chance of the links
Is that how to return a fish? Just under arm it?
You don't need to chuck the fish in when u can kneel down and touch the water. Its disrespect and can damage the fish sometimes
Hello, what wire do you use in this video? Diameter?
What Rod and Reel are you using? Thanks!
It's an ultra light garbalino rod and an Abu Garcia size 500 reel
Ça donne envie de vouloir jouer avec ces petits leurres souples !
😉
Subbed. Well done. Link to tunes?
What rod is that as in would like to get a small rod
Also ginger fisherman if you could go on my UA-cam channel and have a look at the fish I caugh
what rod
What reel is that pls
Why do u have a carrier bag hanging out the bottom of ur trousers? 😂
gotta make the most of your 5p
It's inside my trainer because I can't afford decent waterproof footware XD
vidz are great but how about showing us where 😞💩👍
Noice
Great mate but just ditch the repetitive music, all fishing vids have the same and ditch the barb!!!
music??
LOL so small rod my smallest rod 190 cm
Hope you don't pull out a body!
That was 5g jighead and not a 0.5g one 😁
Being used to imperial system confuses your perception of the metric measures.
Double that. That is definitely not a 0.5g jighead, somewhere between 3-5 most likely.
Wet your hands before you handle it.common sense
