In floor heating is perfect! I have that now and would hate not to have it now I'm used to it. So nice! Too much darn land at my age, sadly. Very nice place.
I’m staying this weekend in one of our rental units in Montepulciano. We took out some awful commercial terra cotta tiles from the 80’s and put in beautiful thick travertine that is locally sourced. I wish we could have put in floor heating. I’m here to tell you that these floors are cold as Heck! It’s 0°C outside today.
nice house. it's good to see it on video, because the pictures give a different impression. the advantage is the proximity to the coast. but it is a vacation or weekend house, and such houses are usually in the middle of nowhere. I am not sure about a longer stay, there are no facilities in the place. I expected everything to be perfectly finished, but it's not like that... we'll see...
Hi there, Brad. I am mindful of your earlier observation that purchasing a home or dwelling in Italy should not be about investment or equity appreciation as this is difficult to achieve except in cities like Rome or Milan etc. Is it likely, then, that this Canadian family are taking an overall loss on selling their home, or did they manage to recover their investment?
considering all factors, especially the upcoming euro zone financial crisis, I think that property is way overpriced. properties around the world are in the bubble. when the bubble will blow is anybody's guess.
Then it sounds like buying something is not for you. A lot of people like the peace of mind of owning something so they know for a fact, I’ll never have to change. I always tell people that when buying property in Italy, why would you love for life because it is already very difficult to sell stuff here.
What a great spot! Super nice finishes!

Love this property!
Beautiful
Beautiful home!
It really is!
Brad, I spent $63k more last year for 2/1, 933 sqft, in US, 10 min. from ocean. That house is worth a million more anywhere in USA
I'm waiting.
It's coming soon!

I have no idea. But I guess they thought that the money from selling it was better than keeping it.

I thought the Ceiling BBQ idea was a bit far fetched! 🤪

Cross between Italian and Canadian style, then, eh? 😊
