Kevin and Kassandra are an inter-abled couple, living in California. Air force veteran Kevin is paralysed from the waist down, after trying to kill himself. He credits Kassandra with helping him turn his life around. Together the couple started a UA-cam channel to show their life together and to address the realities of being an inter-abled couple. Now married, Kevin and Kassandra want to take the next step and start a family together but after Kevin’s accident, trying for a baby is proving difficult.

It’s sad she left him but before saying I do she should have thought about what she was getting into

Yes those are reasons but now adays with the help of science & humanity. Couples can do IVF to have a baby. Even use a sperm donor if his sperm is not good. Same with her, she can use egg donor. Even surrogate can help.
He seems like a really nice person, and I wish him all the best. However, I was prepared for him to say that he was injured in the line of duty, not that he shot himself. The inability to conceive is one thing, but mental health and suicide is another. If I were her mother, I would advise her to reconsider her decision. This young man will need mental and physical support that a woman of her young years may be unable to provide. However, I hope things work out for them.
They're divorced/divorcing now so you're pretty spot on with this. It's unfortunate but a cold hard truth. Taking care of and being with someone who is disabled is already hard enough as is, I could not imagine throwing someone who has battled with depression and an actual attempted suicide on top of that. Having children is not an easy feat and can sometimes test a marriage even further. I would not go into it lightly.

I hope he gets all the mental health he needs! I also hope once he does get the mentality he needs that he's able to give her multiple children. They seem like an amazing couple, and God knows when the right time is. Just trust in God, and love and you will be just fine.
My concern is that she is so adamant about having children knowing her husband may be unable to have children. Her adamance is making him feel inadequate as a man. I saw it in him when he said he was unable to give her children. She knew about this when she met him. And who is to say it is him?

@kcrush5842 Noooo!😢😢 That's soo sad to have to go through that! She knew what she was getting in to before she married him. That is soo wrong. I feel so bad for him. He's already struggling with self love and emotions and now having to through divorce is terrible!😢

How does he use just one hand to wheel himself? I go in circles when I try. One of the biggest things I miss is walking by my partner and holding their hand, made me feel so special and safe, been several years since I was able to..now we have "hand cuddles" between our pillows when we sleep, it's comforting to fall asleep feeling so safe but not the same..really miss it for outside.
