Tune that starts at 8:07 or so is called "Bidh òr na cailliche duibhe" ('the black old lady's gold') and it's a puirt-a-beul/mouth music tune.
    Bidh òr na cailliche duibhe,
    Airgid an dubhadaich,
    Bidh òr na cailliche duibhe,
    Ann am bonaid Theàrlaich.
    Ìt an ìomhag na h-eireig,
    Ann an cìrean a’ choilich,
It a bh’ ann a’ stiùir a’ choilich,
    Ann am bonaid Theàrlaich.
    [Translation:]
    The black old lady’s gold,
    Inherited money,
    The black old lady’s gold,
    Will be in Charlie’s bonnet.
The feathers from the pullet’s belly,
Will be in the cockerel’s comb,
The feather that was in the cockerel’s tail,
    Will be in Charlie’s bonnet.

In jan 20 when I saw this pair of deadbeats were playing Liverpool. I couldn't believe my luck. Five minutes later I had bought a ticket to a gig, on the famous internet - I never did that before ! Of course, I didn't get where I am today ( still alive ) by having faulty instincts, so I never got to see them.
    They did come eventually, but I'm a bit of a weedy type ( ! ) and for good measure ( ! ) , so I **** out.
Consequently, I have to rely on the likes of your good self/selves, to enable me to add to my misery by seeing what I missed.
So thanks a million for the vid, but not for managing to slip it past my radar last year - my instincts are **** hot, my radar has developed a fault, it seems ..........

Sheesh just say "thanks" . What's with the methed-out cryptic ramble?

    • @PIPEHEAD
      @PIPEHEAD Рік тому

@@ianwerner2065 If you can't differentiate between " meth" ( by which I assume you mean something other than methylated spirits - a real man's drink, normally referred to as " meths " ) and " weed " , I don't think you need to know. Just noticed a full stop in my original comment, where I meant to put a comma - clearly the drugs. P.S. Sometimes just saying " thanks " is not enough. !"£$%^&*()_++_)((*&&^%$£"!

So…you helped fund their musical careers, somewhat, by purchasing a ticket-and you got scared and didn’t go? I’m confused.
