It is refreshing to see a normal bedroom without it being a “sleeping room for social media ” with no toys or kids stuff on display. My two boy share a room as well and it is filled with Minecraft, legos, Pokémon, dinosaurs, all the boy things. They are 4 and 7. At this age it’s all about toy storage solutions. So many little figurines.
My son just turned 13 this week and when you said “they are only kids once” it hit me in the heart! So yeah definitely need to clean/organize his room after Christmas and birthday back-to-back. Glad to see you back on YT ❤
Love your pov on allowing the boys to have their own design choices for their room. I had a bit of a hard time with that once my daughter started having an opinion, lol. But I realize now how important it is for them to have their very own individualized personalized space that they are happy in, not what I would necessarily be happy with! I do a big deep clean, deckutter and orga inaction in her room only 2 times a year. Always in late November/early December before the holidays and in the late spring before her birthday.
I like the half voice over and regular talking but it's all up to you 😊 Every now and again the kid's rooms need a Mother's touch🥰 So nice that you are back.

Just if you ever redecorate their room. My father in law put shelving up in my soons bed room around the top of the walls and put all my sons Legos on there. And that could free up your shelving you have in there or you could possibly get rid of it if ever needed
I have two boys a year apart that share a room too. I appreciate trying to give them their own space while keeping it cohesive. I did the hanging down rods in their closet too. One has the top bar and the other has the bottom one.
I love the set up of both of the kids room. I have 2 kids who share and one who doesn’t. So this definitely helps me decide how to set up their rooms and them still have space so thank you!

I have a toy chest that my grandfather made me when I was little and it’s now in my sons room too😊 I try and reorganize and move around his room a few times a year. He’s 10 and does not play with toys anymore, I feel like he matured all of a sudden and just stopped playing with his very large collection of Lego! I think all the LEGO must be put into storage as it’s too valuable to give away. We were lego Crazy for a long time!
