In the book Principles of Mass Transfer and Separation Processes by Binay K Dutta , if you go to the Page number 368, you will find that (L'-L/F ) = q = (Hv-Hf/Hv-Hl) . So we can find q by either calculating the enthalpies or by finding L'-L/F which is nothing but the fraction of the liquid in the feed. Here I calculated q by using L'-L/F which is simply the fraction of the liquid in the feed . I recommend you read this book for better clarity , and all the best !
