    I'm unhappy, but to make the same amount of money else where is very tough. Especially when I have to start back at the bottom. To leave one misery, and be broke. Or be miserable with financial stability. This question is tougher than you think when you are the only one working, your family and financial future is at stake.

    Tbh it’s never worth staying somewhere for just the money. Odds are you’re probably working somewhere where you’re there 80% of the time and you have to deal with it most of the time. Sure you get bills paid but what kind of life is that? I’ll never put my mental health in jeopardy for 2$ more ever again.

    Why haven't I quit my job when it is making me unhappy? Simple : Money. I have a good salary, it pays my bills and beyond. Second reason: can't find anything better that pays as well. For all of you out there that say that money isn't everything, I agree but when you are trying to pay off debt and have no savings for retirement.. money is important!

    I’m a veteran, have been to Afghanistan, worked as a contractor and traveled the world a lone...I say all this to say I am a go-getter. However this video seems to take a shallow approach to people really suffering. I found myself being one of them. I loathe my job. I wake up in the mornings dreading the days I work...and yet 3 years in (while I am promoted) I haven’t left. The reason is I’ve applied to over 200 jobs and got not one call back or wasn’t followed up with after being diligent. I’m not just trying I am doing, but we have bills and I’m not trying to be homeless. Some of us have health issues and need to ensure we find something that will allow us to take care of that. There is no easy answer for some of us. I stay in nothing I hate but I’d I cant feed myself or keep a roof over my head I also cant just leave. No family to help and no husband to fall back on. Just me.

And since that's the case, and so often we can't just quit the second we want to (because we've got bills to pay, and we aren't qualified for that job we'd really like) - I think we can use that crappy job we have to be at. If we take advantage of all the things there we can use, we can get ourselves ready for that better job, or company we want to start. That's what I decided to do.

    1- What rules do I have that are getting in the way of me leaving?
    Waiting for a better job to appear in my job sear.
    2- What’s great about this problem?
    Sadly, there is a lot of competition in my job field of choice.
    3- How can I grow from this decision?
    I can grow from within my company i am currently with and then, hopefully show enough experience for a future job.
    4- What’s the worst that could happen if I left, and could I handle it?
    If I just up and left, I would not be able to afford my place and support my child.
    5- What’s stopping me from taking action?
    Having money to support my family.
    6- If I don’t change this, what will it cost me in the long run?
    Stress, lack of sleep, less time with family.
    7- How can I solve this problem so it never comes back?
    Find a better job.
    8- If I weren’t scared, what would I do?
    I would say what is on my mind to my supervisor and then lose my job.
    9- If I approached this with courage, how could my life change?
    Not for the better, I have tried, and HR and higher ups do not believe me or my coworkers.
    10- How can I enjoy the process of solving this problem? I'm not enjoying this at all.

    It's not worth it to stay at a job you're miserable at. You will eventually burnt out and loose all sense of self. I stayed working for a covert narc boss for over a year now. I somehow thought that I could find a way to thrive despite being held back any way possible. No training, no promotions, constant criticism over petty stuff, and other coworkers are very toxic. The narc even turned higher ups against me. I'm planning my exit strategy. I cant wait to be free and get out of this place.

      Yes!!! I was shift to another department internally and I hated the new department. My old department I was happy in as I was working with people I work well with and we all work as a team. The new department is awful, the team backstabs each other, the supervisor treat his team like their in a military. I am dreading going to work ever since I started there. So now I’m thinking of actually resigning and be broke while looking for new job. I care a lot about my health in general and I’m not gonna let some company ruin me.

    Happiness, enthusiasm, and exuberance are infrequently displayed in me... perhaps much of this is my biology, may even be genetic in substantive part. Perhaps some feel the lack of those traits is unacceptable, whereas perhaps some of us think this could just be the way we are, and/or the combination of who we are and the environment we are in. Perhaps also much of it are one's expectations as to how much, and how often, we should feel so good. The thing is, things could be worse... I could quit my job, not get unemployment, not be able to find another job fast enough before I get evicted from my apartment for lack of being able to pay the rent... find myself homeless, living under a bridge... Then, that 'great' sense of dissatisfaction with that lousy job might seem like a tasty bit of nostalgic triviality.

    Question 10 How can I enjoy the process of solving this problem? That is one of the best questions I have ever seen. I love it cause I have the perfect answer for it.
    The answer is: To not treat it as a problem; but rather a part of the process of being...
    He might be talking about jobs; but all these questions are life questions. One life your's or mine. The problem might be a job and it might be a marriage or an illness, or something else god only knows. The answer is the same...
    Don't see problems see solutions. If we have a problem it holds most back because all the see is a problem. Change how you view the "Problem" think about it not as a problem but a chance to learn a valuable lesson-

    Question one: the only rule that ever gets in my way is the rule of fear; reality is always trying to manifest and it manifest as our state of being. What has always stopped me is fear and the onlyest thing that ever pushed me is happiness. We are always one or the other. High or low, tall or short, big or little. There is a positive side and a negative side to anything and everything. Even positive can be negative or negative can be positive. I tell you it's crazy what mind can do to one's outcomes. OR what it can stop the process of. Just crazy. Spent lots of time studying mind and philosophy! I differ from school trained students. I got my full education all in one hour. It's how I got the education that's so crazy. Direct education strait from the main educator Mind,. God, Source, whatever...
    People just don't understand how in control they really are in life. I'm still learning of course but creating life is much like writing a book and calling it "I am."

    • @ClarityProvokedMe
      @ClarityProvokedMe  8 років тому +1

      +DENNIS HICKS I've never been a yes man and I certainly don't say this too often, but I agree with everything you're saying. You are clearly tapped into higher levels of consciousness and I wish you the best on your continued journey.

    • @bokie51
      @bokie51 8 років тому +1

      +Clarity Provoked It's people like you and so many others including myself Or My Self or our Selves that are here to Clarify the differences in having the "Myself" Or "My Self". Myself is when the self serving ego becomes part of the plan for positive growth. As is it believes it only thrives and grows only on pain discord and resistance. Once it learns it can also grow and thrive on positive it stops the resistance, and the pain of life with the negative Ego ends. So, as long as we are saying "MY Self" there is still negative ego. When we are saying "Myself" that indicates togetherness, clarity oneness. Pain only happens when the self and the self's control which is us are in conflict or resisting each others attempt at controlling the outcomes we wish to have. Any time there is pain of any kind that is our indicator of the presence of resistance within us by ego.

    • @ClarityProvokedMe
      @ClarityProvokedMe  8 років тому

      +DENNIS HICKS it's like you said in one of your earlier comments... All is mind... All is consciousness. And if we ever feel pain/resistance if we could all just do what you said, pause and ask where that exists, career life mind body spirit etc, the pause and the question would be an immediate and huge leap toward regaining control... regaining consciousness. I look forward to your future engagement. We can all learn a lot from you.

      I'm no one special it's only my message that's special. This is my job and I have never loved a job more than I do this one. I can't lay clam to any fame I only deliver the messages give to me to share. It's a very kind of complicated thing; it's easy for me now but back in 2006 my head was spinning trying to answer the messages I thought were just for me but not. I got what I got because I had just been told by my doctor that I was dying. Put simply in one hour or maybe even less; I begin my new job doing something I had never done in my life and that is writing. I had to write a book but the messages are almost like...Have you ever heard of people that see numbers and or letters in colors and such? Yeah, well that's kind of how my messages come to me in kind of like a code is best I can tell you. People shy away from people like me or they are absolutely drawn to us. Many create such resistance to believing us or our job being real. For those people we have nothing to offer until they ask to know. They come to a point a fork in the road if you will; that they must make a decision to "shit or go blind." please pardon my French. Remembering that there are two kinds of Selfish and we pick the kind we use and it's important that we choose rightly. It's as important that we remember to be selfish to give to yourself. Call everything we do and finish a achievement and pat ourselves on the back every time no matter how small the achievement. If we start shaving and finish shaving that is an achievement. When you do this it makes you totally and completely unlimited in possible achievements and I am living proof of it. 61 pushing 62 with copd and yet I ride a bike uphill 27 miles a day 5 days a week. Should a man my age with a lung disease be able to do that in 82 minutes and not a second longer. Drive 27 miles in your car it takes a while to drive 27 miles. Because I have heard and used what I share. I am not a graduate of some big collage nor have I any special trying in any part of my job. I was thrown in it because I ask for a miracle, I ask for my own truths about why I was dying. As you might guess the answer to the question is "Because of me I am me!" Sorry about how long these are but the truth is I shortened it many times. Lol!

    I haven’t quit because of the money I am on, simple as that.
    I’m a shift worker for 5yrs money’s great, good time off too but never really adapted to shift work nights etc, absolutely dread going back to work and generally hate the place and the majority of the people.
    As where my old job as a security technician a job I did for 16yrs basically since I left school I enjoyed and liked the people but it never paid as much and essentially chased the money to where I am now.
    I have a proposal from an old work friend from my previous work who has his own business now and has built it to a nice size in the last 5yrs who wants to cut me in to the buisness and grow it.
    Leaving my in a situation, stay where I am earn the easy money and go through the motions, safe money all the benefits going.
    Or leave and go and work for myself essentially with the risks involved in it, it could be great in terms of what It could become.
    Anyway this is where I am at, searching UA-cam for answers 🤷‍♂️😂

When i worked in fast food i had to move too much to the point of exhaustion, i want a stable not fast not slow type of job. I just don’t know what to do. you might think, oh if you just have to stand there then that’s such an easy job, you’re being paid for nothing, no. 1 hour feels like 5 hours and you have a manager behind your butt telling you to sell sell sell, not fun, not convenient. I’m passionate about everything I do and if i’m not passionate about something i’d rather not do it.

      Peter Withers, I'm a middle-aged woman who quit my job last year since I was miserable.. I'm still in the field but working as a temp and I have been struggling to find regular permanent work since. It isn't easier for woman, trust me.. especially when you are competing with the younger, beautiful, smarter and quicker young woman out there! Woman or man, it is a struggle for both sexes at that time of life!

    I pretty much told my boss last week I wasn't going to come in no more after Thursday (last workday of the week) and Thursday she never asked me if I changed my mind nor did the supervisor I work for. I was thinking of telling her I can stay 2 more weeks but didn't and now I don't whether to go in and see if I'm still on the roll or just carry on looking for jobs. Ps. I wanna move away from where I live it's in the middle of nowhere and I want to move in Fredericksburg va.

    My part time job pays 16.70 but I hate it, the ppl aren’t to bad but the job itself just isn’t for me. I’m not happy with it, and the training sucks. And co workers gossip a lot(work with mostly females).. but yeah so I’m putting in my two weeks. Might join the Air Force as well and plus I saved up a lot of cash so that not an issue rn. Good vid !!

    I am very unhappy and tired about today's corporate world. Basically i am an animator, but i am not an artist. in this field work is not like, 2+2=4... Different people ( teamleader, PM, client ) have different opinion about same work, there is more rework than actual work. I have to spend more than 12 hours a day i n office and there is always a hanging sword of weekend working coz of crunch deadlines. Other people come to office on Fridays in the mood of weekend and in this field we come to office on Friday in the fear of weekend working. This is so ridiculous. I have been in this field for more than 8 years now. But in this all 8 years i never slept peacefully. I am getting mentally sick. I have family to feed. Don't understand what to do. And i can't run away from my responsibilities, but after all i am a human being and need some joy, settled and happy life. 😓😓

    Some of your examples are not the same as being unhappy in your job. Not eating at a restaurant that has poor service is not detrimental in your life plus there’s lots of other places to eat at immediately. Leaving your job has more consequences attached to it so it usually isn’t based on just one factor e.g happiness. I get what you’re saying but it’s a bit more complicated than just leaving sometimes.

    I work my arse off, I'm a carer.. I get payed per call not hour so I can work 30 hours and get payed for 15 hours work... I don't drive I've no money to get on the road, I live in a small place and don't have the money to move... I'm a single parent and hes 10, im 27 and my family are useless. I'm sick of scrimping and not being able to do anything... any care work is at least 6 miles away and I can only work from 9 till 3... If it was further away it would be 10 till 2.. so stuck. Feel worthless and this has been the same for 2 years. I want a better life for me and my son, he deserves better. Trying so hard.
