I am from surat and here police verification is very smooth as said by government officials ,applicant with 1 known person not 2 ,apart from relative needed to visit police stations with their identification card with photo copy , sign there and leave and best part is now there is no involvement of any other favour like money or anything else like it was prevalent before few years.. in Gujarat all police station have particularly given room for passport applications with CCTV in every corner and my surat experience is just butter 🧈smooth ,finished verification in less than 10 minutes, and after verification I received passport in 3 days and overall it just took 7 flat days .... and another experience is of my father’s passport it just took 2 days for him to receive passport after submitting applications the main reason was it was post verification of police officers.. so went for verification after receiving renewal passport which was applied in normal category.. both applications were done in Surat,Gujarat...

Kahi-kahiPolice wala ghar bhi nahi aata hai or phone 10 din baad karega. Khud se net se dekh ke p.s. Pahuch jao.
1.AADHAR CARD laao
2. Adult ho phir bhi Maa baap ka Aadhar.
3. Padosi ko bula ke laao. Saath me unka Aadhar laao uspe woh declare karenge ki main inko janta hu with sign.
4. Permanent residential cert. Laao present address ka. Usko bolo ki Nahi hai or maine mention kiya hai ki mera donon address alag hai phir daraenge. Or uska solutions 1000.
Phir paper SP office jayega.
Waha se phone aayega. Are Apne toh residential nahi diya. Jameen ka paper nahi diya Jameen ka slip nahi diya. Phir usko explain karo ki mainne ghar yaha banaya hai mera permanent Kahi or hai. Acha thik par jameen ka paper do or Raseed do. Phir Woh dene ke baad SP office me 1000 do.
Or yeh sab se saath yahi hai. Uss district me.
Note: Police verification Present add. ka hota hai. Aap passport me mention kar sakte ho apna dono address.

Location is a reason. One cannot apply from other location. It will be a issue. Also, police doesn't come to check, they call you to come to station.
Bro according to rule police has to come to home and you can apply from any passport centre
@@navankurchaudhary8038 Maybe bro, but in reality it didn't work, I have helped 30 classmates of mine in 2013 for their passport, most told me they got call to appear in police station. I have made 3 in family and all had to go to police station, in few cases they do not call even, one has to enquire about it in nearest police station. Also, a friend from MP wanted to apply here in CG and he got rejected saying you can only apply from MP. Just shared personal experience, maybe it didn't happened in Delhi. Anyway, I watch all your videos, very good work! 👍🏻
At last counter a person from (external affair )foreign ministry is there to receive final applications where they are mentioning (pre or post) police verification.. I have seen both types ,pre police is for almost all people but in some cases they select post verification also and that happened with my father’s application and he received passport in just 2 days after submission of normal application of 1500/-.. I thought it was dreamy application where it felt like father went for shopping and finished it in 40 minutes... father is international traveler since 1986 in Europe for business and he was 56 when he applied for renewal.. so age and big business travel history could be responsible for POST POLICE VERIFICATION in his case. Btw it was his 4 th passport because his first one was of 20 year validity ..
