  • In this video I’ll be reviewing the EFCUT MINI Wood chipper from amazon. We’ll go through assembly, fluids, and end result of the chipping process and somethings we found as well. This is a great wood chipper for small job, or large yards with lots of trees and makes a great mulch and amendment for composting as well.

    You chipped branches maybe an inch in diameter at most. It would be good to see what branches of size this machine can handle.. Any chipped will deal with small branches.

      I’ve been using the machine since publishing this video and have chipped over a dozen 15’ Aspen trees up to 3” diameter pieces. Although feeding a 3” branch has to be done slowly and manually.

    So how's it running ? And let us know about the blades if they stay sharp and ease of changing blades,are these good blades? Thanks.

      I still have many more piles to go, so there’s definitely going to be a follow up.

      Yeah, you have to see it running to establish for yourself that it works well.

    Hi! you mention there are products on the marked which make even finer chips. Could you recommend one? Thanks a lot! J

      I haven’t tested the product but these smaller electric chipper/shredders advertise a 1/16th reduction. amzn.to/42Z2rY7

    Hi there - is this still going strong? Any issues so far?

    • @KTheGuy
      @KTheGuy  Рік тому +1

      No big issue. Still original blades, sharpened once. Does a great job consistently. Only issue was between the shoot and casing some chips would get stuck in between, causing the blade path to rub the casing but cleaned periodically and just realigned the metal and was fine.

    Noise cancelling occurs when you run a frequency outside of the human hearing range and overload the other sound vibrations coming into your ears. In other words, Im concerned as a sound engineer that noise-cancelling tech is still damaging your hearing*

      As a sound engineer, you should probably know that noise cancelling emits the same 20-20k audible frequencies and amplitudes as the target noise frequencies, only difference is they are out of phase, which cancels them both out.

      Haters gotta' hate -- it's *really* the only thing they know how to do. :( And in this case, it didn't hurt a dang thing. :)
