I dont want to say im a pro runner but i wud love to know if these watches do match up to those proprietary running watches ???? Does the GPS accurate enough ??? Does it have the ability to connect to other devices such as chest HR monitor ???? Does the step counter or pace counter accurate enough ???
The GPS is accurate enough. Sports modes are quite good too - I think they match most of what popular models by Garmin may offer. But no external monitor can be connected;
Used this watch for 3 mos..the S1 is lousy and the GPS is not accurate at all. During my runs and cycling..it does not track speed and location properly..the GPS is off..better go for huawei, samsung or other brands..
Had the S1 Active for a month. Watch freezes when using some downloaded faces, the manual and Xiaomi tech support were both wrong, you have to hold both buttons for 30s to force restart (found on reddit). Does not have VO2 Max or Energy readings, NFC doesn't work in Canada, dual GPS doesn't seem any more accurate than my single chip units for strava, some routes it is worse 30m+ off track for mtb, for me the regular Mi for $30 less would have been a better watch as it has VO2 and Energy and everything else I'm using is the same.
Oh my... this is not good! While Ididnt experience any of these issues - they are very annoying. Interesting about NFC - is that officially NOT supported for Canada?
@TechMishka Apparently NFC works fine in a few countries, such as China and probably the one you lives, since you haven't faced any issues. But in Brazil i've been watching some reviews because i was willing to buy one (as i did) and they all said that here it aint supported, just like some other features like the mi store.
@@Muammer301it's the connection of the "APP" not bluetooth so I'm suggesting you try to troubleshoot the app and Bluetooth at the same time as it can get headache to do it.. it's the same problem as my old mi band 5-7
Hi. I have to say something regarding the watch face options. The watch faces aside from being free, there are some that allows you to customize them. I'm currently using the Mi Color and the software is pretty similar when it comes to the watch faces. The app is also looking quite the same. What I'm trying to say is that if you look around all the watch faces, you can find some, where you can customize into whatever look you wish. All pics you have in your phone's gallery, you can use to put on your watch and that to me is an awesome add, meaning that even if you're tired of the basic looks, you can always change the look to be of your favorite pet or a pic of your partner or anything you like, really. It's sweet and just perfect in my opinion.

Click at the corner where it shows "More". It will give you the option to choose between a few different types of faces. Choose any, it will open more details and one of witch should be "Custom". Once you click it , it should open to choose photo from your gallery. From there on, it might show you additional options of the numbers to be Black or White and wether you want them to be centered or upper side or lower side. I hope this will help☺️

I am currently trying to decide which smartwatch to buy, I straddle between the Xiaomi S1 Active (135$) and the Xiaomi Mi Watch (100$) but I am not quite sure if the S1 Active is worth the extra 35$ as the only significant difference that I can see is that the S1 model has NFC and Bluetooth 5.2, everything else seems to be pretty much identical. I just got the S1 stainless. They are a very stylish and classy design. Functionality is ok however some features like taking photos from the watch on my iPhone doesn’t work. Also for functionality and ease of use it just can’t beat my ugly Apple Watch series 3. In terms of comfort with the S1 you could almost forget it’s on your wrist. I purchased it as a smart casual watch for work and will test out workouts soon.

С всичко-он - обикновено издържа около 4-7 дни, в зависомост от осветеност, спортове и т.н Аз отдавна много харесвам GT серията на Huawei и смятам, че е най-удобната и функционална. Факт - S-серията изглежда класна, но пък много ми липсва въртящото се бутонче.

Определено часовникът е отличен. Това, което го отличава от повечето сходни варианти от други марки, е опцията за плащане с NFC. иначе останалото е сходно с моделите на Huawei и Amazfit.

Здравейте Ани и много благодаря за милите думи! Часовникът има вибрация. При някои watchfaces има индикация за съобщение, при други няма. Според мен всички модели, към които сте се насочила, имат достатъчно добри показатели откъм дълготрайна батерия. Доколкото знам GT3 няма поддръжка с Android Auto. Към момента може би няма перфектен такъв. Аз лично съм голям почитател на Huawei GT сериите и ползвам основно "тройката" - но подчертавам, че не използвам Android Auto, и основните ми приоритети са следене на сън, пулс, спортове и нотификации. Само да вметна, че ако пишете отново и не отговоря, е възможно youtube да не ми е пуснал нотификация, така че - може да се свържете с мен и по email. П.П. Повечето онлайн магазини имат опцията да върнете продукта след известно време на тестване.
I liked the soccer mention. Most reviews talk only about running and don't mention other types of sports. My first xiaomi watch (amazfit pace) showed your on field heat map. which i loved. I am sad that they downgraded their activities. Now I use Huawei gt 2 pro (because i wanted a watch with wireless charging) and I am very disappointed in this watch because all of the activities track the same thing. There are theoretically over 100 activities but in reality most of them track the same thing so you could use running instead od soccer and there would be no difference.
Kamil, you are very right about it. I still miss some features from the old Amazfits. But let's not forget that they were running a heavily modified WearOS, so it was quite a capable OS. These new XIaomi watches are quite different. This competition about amount of sports tracked is a little ridiculous.

Единствено с ГПСа не мога да се оправя. Него от телефона ли го контролирам, тъй като не намирам опция в часовника. Също така не знам защо, но не ми отчита крачките, също така не намирам как да го свържа с Гугъл Фит. Ред: То този часовник няма никакви тренировки. Без значение коя "тренировка" натисна, там се появява просто един хронометър. Къде са упражненията? Защо каза, че имало тренировки?
Еха, това са няколко интересни теми. - GPS се включва автоматично когато се избере '''outdoor' активност. Няма как да се пусне от часовника просто така. Що се отнася до спортовете - до тях се достига с долния бутон. Избираш тип спорт, пускаш и часовникът мери автоматично. Може да опиташ със плъзгания по екрана да видиш различните варианти за информация.
@@TechMishka точно така, то само мери, но няма никакви тренировки за спортовете :/, което е безполезно. Другото интересно е, че ако си вързал блутут слушалки и часовника , когато решиш да набираш телефона бъгва и можеш да говориш само през телефона. Ако получва обаждане и вдигнеш с часовника, можеш да го прехвърлиш към телефона, но не и към слушалките, и после не можеш да го прехвърлиш към часовника. Ако звъниш, за да говориш през слушалките трябва директно да вдигнеш със слушалките, иначе не става. Без значение дали си вързал слушалките към часовника, телефона или и двете.
Tempreture sensor is actually is over-rated.. its take the temps of your hand (skin) & it's not that accurate U can find the S1 Active for $115 & the normal S1 for $160 in online sites (Aliexperss..etc) For $115, that watch is realy valuable (at least compared to main features)
I am using the watch for a week now... in general it works really well but the fact that it doesnt show the distance covered throughout the day is really bizzare....literally has everything but that, which is really a basic feature
@@TechMishka i do, but i just find it annoying that when I'm playing football, the main thing i look for is the distance covered and it's annoying if i have to look at the phone each time, because even their cheapest smartband has the distance values
The choice seems to be dependant on the smartphone that you use. If it is Android based - both will offer similar performance. If you use iOS - I'd recommend the Xiaomi Watch S1.

May i ask? Does it different if i wear it on right hand? Because mostly people wear it on right hand (which is mostly near to heart)
There is a setting in the app to select which hand you are going to wear on. But general - no difference.

I will have to double check on this. There for sure is an option to set it temporarily for always-ON.

Определено часовникът е отличен. Това, което го отличава от повечето сходни варианти от други марки, е опцията за плащане с NFC. иначе останалото е сходно с моделите на Huawei и Amazfit.

Четох някъде, че нямал и се изненадах! И някъде на уочфейса показва ли, когато има нотификация? Също ще помоля за съвет за часовник с добра батерия. Гледах Amazifit GTR 3 Pro, Huawei GT3 (за него се разколебах, защото обикновения Watch 3 има слабата поддръжка, липса на ъпдейти и много голям проблем с андроид ауто и това, че не ми прехвърля разговора на мултимедията), сега и този и не мога да реша кой да избера. Ще съм благодарна за съвет? :)

Часовникът има вибрация. При някои watchfaces има индикация за съобщение, при други няма.
Според мен всички модели, към които сте се насочила, имат достатъчно добри показатели откъм дълготрайна батерия.
Доколкото знам GT3 няма поддръжка с Android Auto. Към момента може би няма перфектен такъв. Аз лично съм голям почитател на Huawei GT сериите и ползвам основно "тройката" - но подчертавам, че не използвам Android Auto, и основните ми приоритети са следене на сън, пулс, спортове и нотификации.
Само да вметна, че ако пишете отново и не отговоря, е възможно youtube да не ми е пуснал нотификация, така че - може да се свържете с мен и по email.
П.П. Повечето онлайн магазини имат опцията да върнете продукта след известно време на тестване.
I liked the soccer mention. Most reviews talk only about running and don't mention other types of sports. My first xiaomi watch (amazfit pace) showed your on field heat map. which i loved. I am sad that they downgraded their activities. Now I use Huawei gt 2 pro (because i wanted a watch with wireless charging) and I am very disappointed in this watch because all of the activities track the same thing. There are theoretically over 100 activities but in reality most of them track the same thing so you could use running instead od soccer and there would be no difference.

Kamil, you are very right about it. I still miss some features from the old Amazfits. But let's not forget that they were running a heavily modified WearOS, so it was quite a capable OS.
These new XIaomi watches are quite different. This competition about amount of sports tracked is a little ridiculous.

It was Xiaomi 12 Pro. It works fine with most Qi-chargers. Tried with Oneplus 9 Pro too.

Добре, мисля че го настроих така, че да има за 8-9 дни батерия. Единствено с ГПСа не мога да се оправя. Него от телефона ли го контролирам, тъй като не намирам опция в часовника. Също така не знам защо, но не ми отчита крачките, също така не намирам как да го свържа с Гугъл Фит.

То този часовник няма никакви тренировки. Без значение коя "тренировка" натисна, там се появява просто един хронометър. Къде са упражненията? Защо каза, че имало тренировки?
Еха, това са няколко интересни теми.
- GPS се включва автоматично когато се избере '''outdoor' активност. Няма как да се пусне от часовника просто така.
Що се отнася до спортовете - до тях се достига с долния бутон. Избираш тип спорт, пускаш и часовникът мери автоматично. Може да опиташ със плъзгания по екрана да видиш различните варианти за информация.
@@TechMishka точно така, то само мери, но няма никакви тренировки за спортовете :/, което е безполезно. Другото интересно е, че ако си вързал блутут слушалки и часовника , когато решиш да набираш телефона бъгва и можеш да говориш само през телефона. Ако получва обаждане и вдигнеш с часовника, можеш да го прехвърлиш към телефона, но не и към слушалките, и после не можеш да го прехвърлиш към часовника. Ако звъниш, за да говориш през слушалките трябва директно да вдигнеш със слушалките, иначе не става. Без значение дали си вързал слушалките към часовника, телефона или и двете.

Tempreture sensor is actually is over-rated.. its take the temps of your hand (skin) & it's not that accurate
U can find the S1 Active for $115 & the normal S1 for $160 in online sites (Aliexperss..etc)
For $115, that watch is realy valuable (at least compared to main features)

I am using the watch for a week now... in general it works really well but the fact that it doesnt show the distance covered throughout the day is really bizzare....literally has everything but that, which is really a basic feature

@@TechMishka i do, but i just find it annoying that when I'm playing football, the main thing i look for is the distance covered and it's annoying if i have to look at the phone each time, because even their cheapest smartband has the distance values

The choice seems to be dependant on the smartphone that you use. If it is Android based - both will offer similar performance. If you use iOS - I'd recommend the Xiaomi Watch S1.
