- hey viewers . I did a video on what my Engel 38 litre and kings 60 litre fridges power use . The power meters I used were here. www.ebay.com.a... And my twin wireless thermometers were from here. www.ebay.com.a... please if you like my videos ,please share them and how about you subscribe to my channel ,which will inspire me to create more video clips. thank you for watching
Engel is by far the better fridge . Less power and robust . Not flash but reliable as hell
Totally agree 100% thanks for watching 👍🍻
@@EFFICIENTSELF keep doing these reviews on them and other stuff . Because you have good testing gear . And people need good information. I live on a small yacht and the 20 odd year old Waco gave up the ghost on temperature controller . It came with the boat . So have to replace it and found your review. Cheap things aren’t nice and nice things aren’t cheap
I had a 40L waeco for 5 years, it was the old style waeco before dometic took over. it was a good little fridge I had in the back of my sedan car.
Now I have a 65L waeco/dometic cfx. Its a good fridge but there some flaws with it.
Appreciate the comment and thanks for watching cheers 👍🍻
Hi mate, thanks for the video.
I'd just point out that the amp/watt meter clocks over at 65.999 Ah (not at 99.999). I only just learnt that recently.
Therefore the Kings consumed 74Ah, not 108Ah.
All the best 👍
Thanks for pointing that out as I learned that myself recently. Why would you make a meter to clock over at 65.999 ? 😂 got me beat . Cheers thanks for watching 👍🍻
Great video. Thanks. I found it very interesting.
Thank you for the comment and thanks for watching 👍🍻
Thanks for sharing. I reckon I'm cool with 4 degree beer on a 35+ day.
Amen to that 👍🍻
@@EFFICIENTSELF based upon your review I just purchased the runout kings 60l with the secop compressor. Thanks for the review.
My pleasure mate .. my kings fridge is still going . It’s 3 years old now and only the latch is broken and I just use bungee cord to hold the lid shut on the fridge . Other than that still going strong 💪
Thanks for this
Cheers thanks for watching 👍🍻
Of course the 60ltr is going to pull more power than a 38ltr,it has more area to cool.
True that . Thanks for watching 👍🍻
Hey mate good video, Very interesting with the noise testing. I’m just playing catch up on your videos the bloody kids turned off notifications
Thanks Jason. Kids being kids 😂 . Hope you and your family are well mate in these crazy times we are in . Take care 👍🍻
so would a 160 watt solar panel connected to a battery would be enough to keep the fridge running?
It sure would for the 1 fridge. 👍🍻
Just so you know 80% of solar panels on the market generate (75% power output in full sun)
Except eBay solar they double the wattage of the actual rated😑😑
@@rawiridixon4430 mine were advertised at 300w and only generate 130w with 4.8amps in full sunlight
@@tucker2074 yeah well welcome to eBay 😂✌️
So can anyone tell me which is the quietest fridge out atm?
Im not too sure. Best to go to a camping shop and have a look and ask for demo.. i dont have fridges to review . I cant afford it as i must buy them. . Sorry cant help you there . Thanks for watching 👍🍻
