Arg Gavin, I was just in the Faroes and I found your lens cloths littered all across the ground of the islands. You need to tell your customers to properly dispose of them when they are done!
@@fototripper Perhaps they could have a dual purpose, as well as lenses they could double as a biodegradable shit ticket - saves carrying and leaves space for more tomatoes?
that was some scenery , I could feel a touch of vertigo when you where on that cliff edge , what a stunning location , especially that hanging lake . Great video thanks
Thank goodness you guys are in the photography world. Its so full of freakin snobs and wanna be's that i truly enjoy watching your stuff bro! Many greetings from Florianopolis Brazil! On Photo tour :-)
Hilarious, informative, interesting, beautiful, spectacular....gee how many adjectives can I squeeze in here? Rhetorical question, superb video! Thanks so much! For the sharing of your trials and tribulations and successes too!! Loved all of it!
Love the chimey fairytale ethereal hero music when you display a finished image. I expect to see some knights of the round table tramping through the scene banging halves of coconuts together. And yes, to echo what I expect to be so much below, you're videos are a perfect combination of techy bits, classic B roll, and utter BS. Wishing you continued success. Missed Uncle Grumpypants in this one...oh, wait, there he is!
Great vlog as usual!. Funny, entertaining and interesting. Faroe Islands look great but with those cliff edges I'd have to update my life insurance first!!!!. Ill never think of sheep fur in the same light again. ha! Clothes are second place now!.
I do enjoy the humour in your videos Gavin. This one is no exception even if Uncle Grumpy only had a brief cameo role! So good to see people confident enough to not take themselves too seriously and yet still produce the goods when appropriate. Those islands look incredible and I only wish I could join you on one of your trips but sadly that is unlikely.
Keep up the great work, you make me piss myself, very funny, wife says I never laugh, but you prove her wrong ! By the ways, your pics aren’t bad either. Keep the good stuff coming.
Gavin, I’m thoroughly impressed not only with your UA-cam channel but watching you shoot with the A7Rii. I think you more than anyone should get and deserve the A7Riv Without question without doubt Come on Sony invest in this legend on YT 🥂
man what a day! fantastic photos as well! you've actually inspired me to get into the multiple-exposure thingy so ta for that. Cheers for the top qual content again!
Big thank you for this video. I love it. It's a wonderful explain and working out lighting a scene. I feel so sorry for some thumbs down, because I can't understand why someone gave it.I enjoyed this video a lot.
Wow, mind blown! I think you've just given away a big secret about how some amazing landscape photos are taken (including your own). I have never thought of taking multiple shots of varying sunlight. Also , I've learnt in your previous videos how to bracket for long exposures and short ones (not just the -1,0,+1 ones) and bracketing polarizing filter shots too. I'm now really excited about taking multiple shots and blending them to my liking :-).
If I’m having a bad time with my images or running out of ideas, after all Tunbridge Wells in the Uk is lacking trezmendous shots, I just click on one of your many hilarious vlogs and it refreshes my want to get out and try harder. Love it 👍👍
,Another cracking and highly entertaining video. You have a cheek charging $1 for your lens cloths I was in the Faroes and you can just pick them up for free pretty much any place some even have a brown pattern and enhanced smell.
Wow amazing shots Gavin, they are absolutely stunning. Your friend on the cliff edge was a bit nerve wrecking to watch lol As for the lens cloths, you'll have to go to Donegal in Ireland for the finest woollen cloths, minus the shit. Lol
It is certainly appropriate that the angels sing when your finished images are presented! Since it was Paul's last workshop, could you please show his final image made while slipping over the edge of that cliff? Does the lanolin help with the waterproofing of that unmarked camera? Were any sheep injured when Adam harvested those cloths?
Marvelous!! There is no way in H-E Double hockey sticks I would get even remotely close to those cliffs edges like you guys were 😂 I'd faint and fall off for sure. Gorgeous shots as always 💞
Lunch? Picked eggs for everyone. Uncle grumpy would love the photo with just the tip lit up .😁 Some stunning photographs makes me want to get out with my camera.
Fantastic shots. The one with the rainbow is glorious! Genuinely surprised the comments are subdued and no arguing about your little tomato troll fact 😂 im not falling for it either. God speed Jeff. I wish that was me 🤪
@sonyalpha, if you're watching, Gavin "fototripper" Hardcastle is worthy. He has gone through thick and thin with his A7RII. Rain, snow, sleet and sand have not beat him down. He is deserving of promotional equipment if only to further prove Sony's quality and value to the professional photographer. 👌😉
I only need one of your 'Lens Cloths' for the front of my LUMIX FZ330! So can I get away with half the cost of shipping? LOL On a more serious not though, well done indeed for sticking it out in those conditions, and the scenery on the Faroe Islands is 'Other Worldly'..Truly breath-taking!
Enjoyed the video, really entertaining with some nice images. Will you be making more photography video's or is it back to celebrity juice. Great work Keith.
Love the lens cloth spoof, can you get one using Scottish wool? Keep up the great videos and as for the diet stick to the chocolate mate, over here on the east coast the local walmart has all kinds of British sweets gotta love it, and the local grocery even sells IRN BRU just what you need for fototripping.
Bloody he'll mate I'll take 30 lens cloths shipped to Aussie, With your scense of humor you could be a blooming Aussi Great pictures You'll have less probs with wind if you stop eating curries,
The photos in the end are fantastic! Soft light on those rocks and full of little detail. Is that what comes straight out of the camera or does it require stacking multiple photos?
Another fun and educational video - you've almost instantly become my favourite photographer on UA-cam ! I do however have some questions ! ;) 1. Why don't you use a remote instead of pressing the shutter button each time when shooting a series to blend ? Habit? Personal taste ? Or is there another reason? 2. What happened to your A7rii eyecup !? 3. Was that the Canon 24-70.2.8 ? I've adapted the 135/2 for a more budget friendly solution for that FL and need a lens in that range (I was thinking of the Sony 24-105/4). 4. Your caption read 28mm for the last shot. It looked a lot more telephoto than that. Did you crop it a lot for the final image? Cheers & looking forward to your next video ! Kevin
I would love to come to one of your photo tours, but I have a serious fear of heights. In the Faroes I would be a 100 meters away from the cliffs, at least.
Great content as usual. I have just moved to Vancouver island from the UK... are there any locations you could recommend shooting near the south east coast?
Arg Gavin, I was just in the Faroes and I found your lens cloths littered all across the ground of the islands. You need to tell your customers to properly dispose of them when they are done!
hahahahah, but did you try them. Once you go wool, you never go back.
@@fototripper I caught a few on my boots, mixed with some sheep shit, good times.
@@fototripper Perhaps they could have a dual purpose, as well as lenses they could double as a biodegradable shit ticket - saves carrying and leaves space for more tomatoes?
Gavin - you deserve to be the top landscape photographer on UA-cam! Okay, I’m drinking again… But it’s true!!!
I could not get that close to edge of those cliffs. Hats off to you.
Love your videos, the crack at times is hilarious. The photos speak for themselves.
I enjoyed the usual antics Gavin... but I did miss Uncle Grumpy!
you'll get your fix real soon ;)
"and right there he realised that this was his very last foto trip." hahaha 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣
You are blessed with equal amounts of photographic talent, and DJI pocket pro clumsiness! Good job Gavin, despite your efforts! 😂 😂 😂
that was some scenery , I could feel a touch of vertigo when you where on that cliff edge , what a stunning location , especially that hanging lake . Great video thanks

Like always entertaining and fun.
Lanolin! Give all your equipment that Shiny New look
HAHA! Love the lens cloth, Gavin! Faroe Islands look stunning too. Great shots!
Awesome ..... now, where have I heard that before. 🤔
Great vlog as usual!. Funny, entertaining and interesting. Faroe Islands look great but with those cliff edges I'd have to update my life insurance first!!!!. Ill never think of sheep fur in the same light again. ha! Clothes are second place now!.

Fabulous video. Testament to value of patience.

This great video made me subscribe. Love it man
Brilliant!
Stunning images, that organic lens cloth payoff....trezmendous! They are so beautiful they don't look real. Great job!
Subscribed. May Sony be with you.
Best part of the video is your coffee cup XD, the photos are great too, but that cup is priceless.
Well spotted ;)
Always love watching your trezmendous vids Gav! ;)
That was some finish to what was an tresmendous trip
I think Amazon will soon be onto your lens cloth idea mate :-)

Awesome photos. You are the bees knees when it comes to blending.

Fantastic processing by Blake on these images... oops wrong video 😁
Awesome shots and vlog again Gavin, keep them coming 👍👍👍

Without question without doubt
Come on Sony invest in this legend on YT 🥂
Yeah let's get this poor man into the Z100 batteries (though I will miss his complaining about the crappy battery life with those FW50's)
Great images and an entertaining, but mostly on point video. You'll need to walk us through one of your blending sessions someday. Rock on!
Entertaining and informative as always! Best regards - Rob

New lens cloth OR a cottony-soft shit ticket? You should stock up!!! :P
Next time, I would suggest harvesting your lens cloth a little further away from the nether regions...
Stunning landscapes Gavin! Cheers.
Big thank you for this video. I love it. It's a wonderful explain and working out lighting a scene.
I feel so sorry for some thumbs down, because I can't understand why someone gave it.I enjoyed this video a lot.
Some people have no souls Andre. We pity them.
The added bonus with your lens cloth, just think how soft the lanolin in the wool will keep your wee hands stoater of an idea.

"clumsy Twa!!" is just heard as the camera hits the water. Classic stuff Gav. Great vids, shots and commentary, keep it up mucker
You were paying attention. Top marks.
These videos have been making my vertigo go crazy. Beautiful views, but I'd never be able to get that close to a sheer dropoff. :(

Holy shit!! That image at 4.10 secs is unreal.
Terrific location and even better shots from there 👍🏽

I didn't realize you in fact were in Suduroy as well 😀
But do come in august or september instead! 😉
