I'm subscribing just for the battery jump start tip. I have a drill that has a non registering battery and was trying to figure out what to do. Now I know. Thanks man

Great video. I have been looking around at Ridgid for this but never found this one. All the others I found was almost double the price. Thanks!!!

Yeah this little guy is excellent! It only will do 1/2 and 3/4 but for me it’s just right and I’ll break out the torch for 1 inch and above!

And why would you do that? Just to make sure you don’t miss one?

What is the minimum pressing force needed for the 1/2 and 3/4 inch copper pipe pro press fittings?
The RP 115 shows the lowest number of pressing force applied to fittings compared to competitors. I suspect they just limited the force applied to what was needed for 3/4 inch pipe and below to enable cost savings but looking to verify what force is required for 3/4 inch pipe. Anyone know where to find this info? Thx

I have 3 press tools a Milwaukee, a Ridgid, and the big Vevor press the reason I bought the vevor is I had the Ridgid snap cutter for cutting cast iron and it is so fast I snap cut a whole house with 3 bathrooms in 27 minutes it took us a hour and a half to get it out from underneath the house, so far the Vevor press has been well used and works great so far I’ve had it about four years now with no problems.

What is your opinion on this smaller battery unit handling 1" jaw set being used for manifold piping on combi boiler installs , where your crimping a larger quantity of joints.

Unfortunately this unit will only do up to 3/4 however I’ve had to knock down about 30 crimps in a row before working on frozen water lines and it definitely does its job without complaining!

@TheHandyJeff I see they have a kit that covers up to 1" with the smaller battery. That was why I sought opinion on that.

    Does this do refrigerant piping?

I don’t believe so, although I don’t know what size it comes in that’s kinda out of my wheel house.

You can drive a horse and buggy instead of a car. Time is money, this is faster and by all accounts just as permanent as sweating.
