- In this video I modify one of the existing presets on the Headrush Prime to make a classic rock, mid gain, "brown sound" patch.

Recently discovered your videos while doing research on the Headrush. Really enjoy the content. From Sesame Street to Dokken 😂. Picking one up today. My Helix is six years old so it’s time. Also excited to see how it clones my 5150.
The tones sound great.
thank you!
Great video, I’ve had mine four days and really enjoying it. I come from Helix/Kemper and find the touch screen so easy to use.
One thing I’ve not found out how to do yet is to have the metronome going while looping, maybe it’s not possible but if know how please share 🙂
How does it work compared to Helix and Kemper?
Sounds nice. What speakers do you suggest
how do you think, if i have fm3 i must sell him and buy hr, or soud and effects better on the fm3?
Please make some stereo song cover with it , to see how the tone fits the mix
Wow
I've always wondered why the default setting for a preset doesn't have the impulse /cab last in the chain. In the real world, the effects are before the speaker output, so why change that in a modeler? Is this because in a live situation, one might get some effects from the PA? I'm no pro, so if someone can educate me, please do. :)
You can run it that way if you like! I can’t say for certain but I would guess that it’s because IR’s are mono…so if you had one at the end of a chain and you were using stereo fx, it would sum your preset to mono.
Running effects after the speaker is how it’s done in a recording studio. Effects are added in post during editing/mastering. 🙂
@@lperry65 that’s a huge generalisation and isn’t always the case!
Headrush bought Peavey, that's why all the stuff is inside.
lolol now the ENTIRE Peavey line up in there makes sense!
@@MarkThomasMusic Yes ist does 😆 If it makes sense putting a 10 (?) years old technology inside a top of the art modern unit is another question...................
Headrush purchased Audio Media Research. Which was an independent subsidiary of PV. "Audio Media Research was originally founded by Hartley Peavey as a research and development branch of Peavey Electronics. Today, AMR lives on as a stand-alone entity focused on audio software, digital signal processing.". ReValver is one of favourite VST next to Overloud THD. Has a realistic sound not thin and overly processed.
You can’t get the brown sound with single coils
Eddie could have gotten that sound out of a Daisy Rock acoustic guitar, and that guitar does not have single coils 😆
Sound like a real amp
Hi Thomas you will suggest buy dsp, kps or this?
My friend, you really need a mic on your voice. We can't really hear what you're saying. Second, did you recorded directly to the Headrush OR mic'd from your video?? I'm almost guessing you didn't recorded directly. The reason why I'm asking, the guitar sound does not good at all. It looks like there's alittle muffled and "Chorus" to the Output.
Well, the first thing I'd do if I were covering a song in a bar band is find out what the actual amps and guitars were used to record the fucking song.
Hi Mark, can you tell me please how may captures can be loaded into a single preset? Thank you. 👍 😊
