Ghana takes the lead then all other Africans come after Ghana. We don’t beg we are humble but proud and believe in what we do and offer. Why the envy? Why hasn’t Fatima left Ghana after 13 years if she loves Kenya that much. The freedom and peace you get in Ghana is the attraction. I have followed other AA bloggers come and bash Ghana then go to other countries then eat a humble pie upon return. Ghana is a small country we can’t take everyone. People should feel free to choose which African country they prefer. There something inherent about Ghana no other country can take away from it. Indians descent unite with other Kenyans outside Kenya that need to be part of the discussion and comparison between what Ghana offers. The question is why do both people from all parts of the world (regardless of ethnicity) feel comfortable and at peace in Ghana? That’s our brand.
I agree with Fatima though when she proposed that we shouldn’t wait for the government but SME should collaborate or be invited to provide a service or product. The government could help with schemes and tax incentives for such measures and put out the information in local languages to reach the public. Often it’s only friends and relatives of government appointees who know of such schemes to the disadvantage of ordinary Ghanaians such as the shoe maker, artisans etc.

its always like that, cos Ghana have been teaching the whole of africa how to do things and yet get nothing in returned than insults, which tourist centre is much more mature like someone said just on this trend of comments, funny,Ghana should just focus on his people and as much Ghana has one of the industrious young man out there

What is wrong with Kenya, let me open your eyes to something here,South Africa gave Ghanaians visa free travel only for kenyans to complain wh.y would they give Ghana and not give them,so in that case they got and and again so proud of the decision of Ghana to reject it ,now its branding, who said Ghana is branding their country for what and for who...Ghanaians by far have always love their country and have always been nice people by nature,Ghananians would leave any part of the world just for christmas and easter in Ghana, our friends would then ask why would Ghanaians always go home no matter the money involve to leave their respective places-so they then follows to see what we celebrate and end up falling in love with our moves and love share abroad for everyone, so Ghana is not branding-if Ghana should be branding they would be trying to please everyone who complain of customer service but hey they are themselves-Now kenya again is here to talk to African America over coming to kenya and leave Ghana,i wish that happens ,African Americans are not building anything there and all you see are Ghanaian owns.
I think its about time we get things clear here,it looks like its business than connecting back to history, connecting to ancestry,Nigeria is not complaining why Ghana, slavery took place in the coast of west africa and Ghana was the capitalized section, why would kenya be after Ghana when there alot to do,African Americans can all go to kenya, but there is one glowing fire in Ghanaians you cant get anywhere,Ghana is just helping correct what was mishandled in time of slavery, how i wish they stop all this thing of come back home,Ghanaians are open minded people who fer no colour like east africans do ,putting whites first,if you are white and you mess up - a Ghanaian would tell it to your face regardless being a boss, we are bold and can build our country,Ghana is a great and humble nation on the continent of Africa.

Ghana tourism is package and more professional than any African Country. It is top notch and Kenya must learn from Ghana. Ghana has world class infrastructures and rich cultural history. Safari is not attractive to African Americans. Kenya should repackage their brand. Ghana is leading in tourism currently.

How many world class hotels do you have as Ghana? I can assure you, the number of hotels in Nairobi alone is more than Ghana as a country ..Infrastructure wise, Ghana is nowhere near Kenya ..
