Oh I loved this dual review style, great to hear two different views on the story in one video this way!! I had zero clue what this was about, but now I am extremely excited to check it out. Consider me sold!

Awesome! We were both a bit nervous about how the dual reviews would be received, so good to hear that you enjoyed it!
I had no idea of what to expect when I started Cage of Souls because I've never heard anyone talk about it. But I enjoyed it and I do think you would enjoy it as well!

Thanks for the great reviews! Sounds like he has some really great world building but probably should have included this in a larger novel or series to really give the world he was envisioning justice.

Absolutely! I don’t know if either of us are smart enough to understand his stories on our own.

I don't think that you can kill a thing like Gaki, he was a product of the f'ed up world. But the novel needed to be concluded, for now. Loved this book.

Probably not for me, Sci-Fi and standalones usually don’t work for me. Anytime I read a stand-alone I almost always complain that it would have been better as a series. lol

I'm not usually a fan of Sci-Fi either, but enjoyed this one so much that I'm going to check out Tchaikovsky's other sci-fi works.
Maybe it's just where my mental state is at, but standalones have been working for me! But I totally understand the feeling that a standalone leaves things either underdeveloped or unresolved.
