@@larrynstory6738 watch the finals and watch closely the reaction of Sophia telling secretly Howie and Haydee that she got the 5 of Spade. Simon did not get either. He was looking twice if there was another card other than the one he got. They did not expose her to avoid embarrassment but that was foul. Several good performers lost the #2 spot. The #2 spot was robbed by other performers like Putri, Murmuration, etc.

Another secret lies on the envelope. Sophia ruined it accidentally
i love the fact that every time her act goes exactly like she wants it to be she has this geniune disappointment on her face like she couldn’t believe what she had just done , she’s so bubbly and lovable and is definitely worthy of being in the finals.
THE REVEAL....Howie drew a black number card you could see it and put in envelope. Sofia had the Queen of Spades and Simon had the wrong card and went behind Sofia to ask an audience member for the Queen of Hearts. Remember Simon is the producer of the show and he was protecting Anna and Sofia did not call her out as she was in on it as well. Then their fake comments at the end was icing on the cake that this show is staged. This is why magic on TV is a bunch of camera cuts and producers protecting performers vs watching in person. She would have never ever fooled other magicians doing this basic magic.
Instead of forcing 1 card on Terry she forced a short stack of cards which is very obvious and Terry was in on it because if Terry would have said I would take more or less cards the trick is ruined. Then she uses misdirection shooting the cards in the air when her left thumb hooks a piece of invisible thread and pulls out her short stack into her hands. The camera cut was late that was suppose to hide her steal but you can clearly see her steal her short stack using the same technique as dove harness when magicians steal loaded doves to produce in silks. Then it was just a matter of making sure she remembered the order of the day/month/year/time as she placed the cards in the racks.
Do you not realize that the show was taped in Pasadena CA which would have been 7:10pm there when she did the reveal. That means she was ONLY focusing on the midwest and east coast which would be 10:10pm.....Central time zone would be 9:10pm and mountain time would be 7:10pm. So not sure why she did that when all of America was watching and the time would only work in the midwest and east coast. So you being in Las Vegas would have been 3 hours behind the same time in CA.
Notice you would assume the audience had a stack of cards but not once did you ever see that. The only thing the camera showed was the audience sealing the envelope shut.....everyone in the audience already had the Queen of Hearts in the envelope in either a hidden compartment revealed when tearing the envelope open. Notice Howie puts a black number card in the envelope and pulls out Queen of Hearts. Also notice that one of the audience members was showing the Queen of Hearts on their phone.
This is the risk performers take when they involve the audience and judges as a self working trick does not always work as expected as clearly it did not work for some of the judges and audience members. This is also why the audience members were not that impressed as they were all in on the trick. If she would have done a number or object force with the America then it would have be a more powerful effect as there are no gimmick envelopes or cards. David Copperfield, Marc Spelmann and many others mentalists magicians have done a very clean powerful predictions and got the entire world involved and it worked! Anna needed to get all America involved then that would have blown people away since they are voting.

@2:07 you can see the card in Sophia's hand. It is the Queen of Spades. For a few seconds you can see her struggling to put the card in the envelope. 4:48 Sophia is holding up the Queen of Spades and NOT the Queen of hearts. Goes to show you that the judges are in on the tricks🤣.
@user-hv9cd5gp1c I'm just a regular watcher of tv and even I fail to see the magic of this act, so much praise for a staged act? and this almost won a million dollars? So much talent in the top 10 that didn't require the help of the judges but she has a talent for getting people on her side I suppose.
02:15 if you look closely and pay attention to her arms, you can see her suit changes color depending on the direction of the light. That is such an amazing outfit and I genuinely have no idea how the trick is done.

It's a trick envelope with 2 pockets. The queen is already inside. When you put your card in you have to sit on it so that side is glued shut. When you open it the queen falls out as the other side is glued shut.
How did every single person in the audience tear theirs open on the exact same side of the envelope tho?
@@varunaX I'm not sure the audience actually did anything other than close the envelope, you can see when the judges are shuffling the cards the audience isn't doing anything, and when she says people with an envelope to peel off the edge, they're just reaching down and closing an envelope. It's one of those tricks that's made more for the TV audience than those who show up "OMG, this one card is in the envelope like everyone else that was put there by the production staff... yay I think?"

She blew the final act- we thought Sophia did not get a Queen of Hearts at the end of the act. It was a black card. And no one acknowledged it. We rewatched it a few times and Sophia’s card wasn’t a heart.

If you play all video speed in .25, you can see Howie putting a number card in his envelope, Simon put a face card, and Sophia was already flashing her queen of spades as she puts it in her envelope . Anna's card was also a number card into the envelope as well. Trick envelope?
hahha. of course it's a trick.. there's no way it could be a real magic.. in every magic act there's a trick. it's just a matter of how the magician delivered it, that is why they were called a performer just to entertain.... sometimes it doesn't hurt to use common sense...have fun watching 😅😅😅

Around 2:58, you will start to notice the cards peeking inside her jacket. Slow down the speed to 0.25 to actually see it blend with the cards around 3:01

Sleight of hand to give Crews his small deck. Then while "randomly" shooting cards in the air, she yanks out her small deck with a string from her chest pocket. (You can see it move if you play it slow.) That's why she fumbles with it like it's attached to a string. From that point on, all she has to do is play all cards in that exact order.

At 4:47 you can see Sofia pull out the queen and spades and then you can see Simon reach back into the envelope and try to pull something out before the camera changes. The queen of hearts was in the envelope the entire time. To me it looked very staged

@@Pinkkermit17 the envelope is rigged... preloaded with Q of hearts... obviously they were all marked.. TEAR OPEN HERE... the envelope has 2 sides... the card they choose goes in the side that is not torn open.

It's a simple trick. It's card mechanics. I literally saw this step by step on an instagram reel.
The evelope has 2 pockets and the queen is already inside. When you put the card in and sit on it one side is glued shut. When you open it the other pocket has the queen which falls out

I love Anna. For me, this was easily her best performance. Her showmanship is great and she stepped it up every round. In a way, she reminds me of Jon Dorenbos. Another magician who can really play to the crowd with his stage presence. People say Anna doesn't have a chance, but I think she could surprise us by at least making top 5.
