Man, this is the first video in long form I've watched of yours. I really like this style better than the shorts. To be entirely honest, the shorts feel kind of "tabloidish." This video has real substance, and hearing your thought process gives WAY less of a "Miranda Cosgrove was cancelled for doing..." (just a fabricated example) style of videos. This is almost like a true crime video, and I'm all for that shit!
I know. I used to watch those shows with my kids. It’s kind of like the Brady Bunch. Such a wholesome show, only to find out what was happening behind the scenes was anything but wholesome. Drug use, and alcohol consumption on the set by the kids, with the adults partying with them.
At this point it's "whatever". It's like half the people that created my favorite shows are creeps. Harvey Weinstein, Kevin Spacey, James Franco, Joss Whedon(Buffy, Angel), you name it. Great creators, too bad they have problems like that and we won't see their new works they could've done. Not saying they didn't deserve what they got, it's just a shame that we won't see the creations.
So is the justice system. For allowing his treatment towards minors to go unpunished for so many years. The adult jokes is one thing! What he did back stage however, is cringy.
I think that joke in that classic episode of SpongeBob SquarePants, getting trapped in Sandy's dome while she's hibernating, makes a lot more sense: "I am Dirty Dan!" Coincidence or something else? Everyone will come to their own conclusions.
Grew up as a Nicktoons kid, usually hated any live action sitcoms but I LOVED All That. Great humor, music, and just a fun time. Loved seeing Kenan on SNL, just made sense. I was well grown when iCarly started and never watched it but holy crap man. Just ooogy, wtf man, nobody during production saw issues with any of this?

Nobody thought about it that way back then. You had to be in the business to know first hand that Dan Schneider was doing creepy things. Nickelodeon was a big part of my childhood in the 90s and it never occurred to me or my parents that weird things were going on behind the scenes. Times were different.

Ever heard of the Halo effect? This is a part of the reason lol. You just look at a person and think "I bet he's a creep" or "I bet they're violent". Don't really feel the same way when we look at attractive people.

Meh I liked Nick over Disney Channel growing up watching Rocket power, SpongeBob, rugrats, Fairly Odd Parents and more then when I started watching live action shows I was still liking more Nickelodeon watching, Icarly, Drake and Josh, the Amanda show but liked Disney’s sweet life of Zack and Cody and being the youngest by 12,10 and 8 years I was watching a lot of rated R pot/beer comedy movies and Comedy Central shows so I grew up with a very diverse liking of music and movies/tv shows
Sometimes I think Dan Schneider single handedly popularized the foot fetish. It's kind of funny, I watched all of Dan Scheider's shows starting with... The Amanda Show I think? I didn't notice it at first, but man! It's one of those things that's painfully obvious in retrospect.
Maybe Dan Schneider might be the reason Amanda Bynes is so screwed up. One story is that he molested her, got her pregnant and then forced her to abort the baby, all while she was underage.

Thank god I wasn’t a fan of Icarly or victorious. I was too old for Nickelodeon when those 2 shows aired. Zoey 101 was a part of my era but I never liked it mainly cause I wasn’t a fan of Jamie Lynn and thought the overall show was a bit boring. But I did like Drake and Josh, All That, and The Amanda show.
