Front drive bearing shot....usually they seize and take out pin. If your in low range I believe they are governed through ignition so you don't blow it up.
on your master cyl,take cover off.. there are return holes for the brake fluid, they get gummed up, take a paper clip or fine wire and run into return holes to remove clog.

Yup broken speedopins are usually a telltale sign of a bad bearing. Surprised its gone with such low milage but it is old so understandable

Yeah this battery is the actual correct battery for the sled. Nothing wrong with a lawn tractor battery as long as she fits lol
