I go to Toverland at east once a year. The one thing Toverland has a leg up on other parks in the region is crowds and crowd control. Efteling leads the way in the Netherlands with around 5 million visitors a year, which you can feel. Almost every day is busy, lines get pretty long. Walibi Holland gets almost 900.000 guests each year. However, I don't know what they do, but their lines regularly suck. Long waits for the top attractions and sometimes annoying guests. You'll easily wait close to an hour for Untamed or Goliath with guests vaping and smoking in the queues. Toverland gets more visitors than Walibi Holland, at around 1,2 million. However, Toverlands queues are hardly there. The low capacity rides like Maximus Blitzbahn and Boosterbike get decent lines, but those aren't the top attractions. Fenix, Troy, and Dwervelwind (AKA the top three coasters in the park) hardly get lines over 10 minutes. Other good attractions like Pixarus, Dragonwatch and Expedition Zork also get about 15 to 20 minutes. Only during Halloween nights you might see some 30 minutes waits at these rides. Toverland somehow ensures that you're always doing something when you're there.
Nice video! It feels like Toverland grew up with me. As a small child, I loved to play in the halls and I used to climb around everywhere. Then came the outdoor area with Boaster Bikes and later Troy. Back then I was still too scared of roller coasters like that. Maybe that's because Colorado was my first roller coaster and that really threw me off track. Theme park worlds have always fascinated me and now I also love well-integrated roller coasters. I think Toverland is definitely on the right track. And they are lucky to have a massive amount of space left over that can be built on, unlike a certain other park. Although limitations are both a curse and a blessing.
We love toverland so much and are visiting it about 20 times a year. We also love Phantasialand, Europapark and Efteling, but Toverland has a special atmosphere. It has this natural touch an beautiful plants, flowers and trees everywhere but they seam as they are naturally growing there. On the other hand, there is absolutely nothing, which is outdated, ugly or unkempt. When they get one other land and a big, modern darkride, they are one of the best theme parks in Europe.
Ive bin in toverland 2,5 years ago and i live in Emmen, 2,5 hours drive up north the netherlands. I think its really great themed park in the lay-out. I know walibi, ive bin there 5 times. Yes i prefer toverland above walibi, but the distance is one to concider.
Toverland is finally easily reachable from the touristy bits of the country. One train from Den Helder through Alkmaar, Zaandam Amsterdam, Utrecht, 's Hertogenbosch and Eindhoven followed short busride. So I think it will become very successful very soon.
I visit this park sinds 2006. This park is grown so much. The new planning is expected to been public in the coming months. In this plan there want to build 30 hectare in 20 years
I’m an absolute Toverland Stan and I’m deeply invested and interested in what the future of this park will bring. I’m hoping they will add a large scale darkride next and after that (perhaps controversially) I’d say is to replace the boosterbike with a Vekoma super boomerang that has a turntable, because Boosterbike is un themed and has low capacity
Great review. I live in that sweet spot between Efteling and Phantasialand wit toverland nearby. And there is many parks within a few hours. Sometimes hard to choose. But europa park is further away from toverland. It’s a 5 hour drive for me
Visiting parks in Europa and in the US the main difference to me is fun. European parks are mostly build for experience and making you have fun. US parks are more business in a way. Disney and Universal are really well themed and I had a lot of fun at Dollywood, but in Europe it seems to be the standard. Mostly with a lot of small things that are just there to make you have the most fun you can have instead of concrete plazas with some food stands you see a lot in the US
Tbh I think I am like really lucky cuze toverland is a 25 min drive efteling is a 45 min drive phantasialand is like a hour and 30 min drive and europa park is a 3 hour drive from where I live And I can't really confirm about the blitz coaster rumor the only thing I know is that toverland is planning a hotel for 2026 and a new themed area for 2028 and also like 5 more area until 2038 but I don't remember exactly when thay all are getting build
Toverland is my home park i come there every week i love the park it can grow so big and has good events the best is halloween nights thay have one haunted house now youre mine it is amazing and has things you dont thing about in a haunted house so if you want the best Toverland experiens go white halloween if you are a halloween fan i think you love it

We live so close to toverland it is an amazing parc and they can get 2,5 times bigger as they are now so lots of potential
Something about efteling, they own less land than europa park but the park portion of efteling is about 1,5 times as large as that of europa park
Toverland is my home park only 35 minutes away. They already announced an extension to the left of port laguna and an hotel on the far side of Avalon.
