The Beginning of the Building of a Large WOODEN CANOPY For the Farm - Ep. 3

- In this episode, I started building a large wooden canopy for my farm. With this canopy, I can work even in heavy rain. Also in the near future I plan to put my own sawmill under this roof, where I can harvest wood material for my hut.
There are many good trees on my site that can be used to build various buildings. Instead, I plan to plant a lot of Christmas trees.
I also plan to plant a lot of grapes and peaches, but for this I need to fence off the entire territory from wild animals.
My uncle, who builds wooden huts, advised me not to bury wooden posts in the ground, as the wood in the ground would sooner or later deteriorate. I concreted the metal structure, and I already screwed a wooden pole to it. Thus, this canopy will stand for many years.

The log cabin. The poles ,..... It looks like it fit just fine inside that building and make a double insulated with airspace around it it'd be so warm and so nice and comfortable all year long...... Square footage well sometimes it just cost too much to heat and cool 😎

You've come a long way, Bjorn, and progress is a good thing,, but I miss the days before the concrete, steel posts, chainsaws and flamethrowers, when it was just your little cabin in the woods and you built amazing things with just hand tools. That said, I still enjoy these videos and will continue watching. All the best from America!

I personally feel Blessed today to have found your channel, I remember when I eventually broke out on my own, opening Gentleman Jim's Construction in New Hampshire USA, after working for several different types of builers for 7 years. I would build additions to homes by myself, Lifting the beams as you are, either nailing by hand, by pneumatic gun, or drill/driver .. You really awoke many wonderful memories from Deep within myself.. TY very much, being disabled, sitting inside not able to build as much as i want/need too any longer was depressing, But you've given me back my memories of All I have accomplished in my life, which was many many great customer's to build for, eventually buildinv my own homes. God Bless you Bjorn my new friend. IF i can afford to send some $$ ea month when i get my very limited SSDI Check, i will try to help. Have a wonderful day.

GREAT JOB. HINT, when using a chisel take off smaller pieces at a time instead of big chunks. You will find that it works much better. Great video.
