- Ride along with Steve and Dave as they fish in the Bass world event on Truman lake. Conditions are summer for sure..water temps in mid 80's and air temps over 90...Steve has been hot with the Berkley J-Walker in the last few derbies and it starts us off.... with dragging being what produces after the morning topwater is over...can't lie it's grindy...Texas rigged worms and brush hogs with an occasional seiko style bite around finicky bass....We even have a football jig bite that is downward into the tongue and gill area that Mountain Dew trick saves a dead fish penalty but why these guys that wouldn't drive around the outside of us is still a mystery to me. If you ask me they were in the wrong but I over reacted and let emotions rules and we all know that isn't what winners do....period so live and learn...You want reality well this is an aspect of tourney fishing that is well.... unscripted...Please leave Comments... In California, on the OCEAN (it’s a big ocean…..) we’ve had them come FIVE FEET from our transom (we are anchored in 60-70 feet of water fishing yellowtail) and they’ve asked US to move!!!!!!!
I truly believe a percentage of the population has gone mad-hatter INSANE. There is no other excuse or reason. Explains a lot about our current socio-political climate.

You’re a good dude, Dave. Good perspective on the (probably novice) boater. Lots of hail damage in Arkansas too. I am in the ownership group of a collision shop in my home town and I’m going cross-eyed looking at dents 😂. Always look forward to your content and learn a lot from you.
I fish predominantly blueback herring lakes(Hartwell) & that boat wake stirs up the bait which then gets the bass activated, no bother to me once I found that out. Once they start biting that brush hog, it’s hard to put it down
