Didnt know Specials were still going on in 95! Cool find that John Major cover haha. Some killer finds man and deals. Nice different version of X Ray Spex.
Gosh. I haven't been to Camden in ages. Must get out there to check it out. I've never seen all the albums you picked up so it's really interesting to know about them. Cheers!
I need to get Fistful Of 4 Skins. That signed drum skin is very cool. The Cockney Rejects were a favorite of mine. By the time they played LA they bloody well sounded like AC/DC.
Love the footage on the end there Nick! Could’ve seen Sham 69 when I went to one of them Butlin’s music weekenders at Minehead 4 years ago (pre covid!) but they clashed with someone else who I really wanted to see but can’t remember who it was now? Will have to check the gig line up to tell you! Did see Angelic Upstarts though with Mensi who were brilliant! Sadly it will be the last time cos poor old Mensi’s gone now with the best of them! Love the “Lip Up Fatty” 12” you got there, had no idea Bad Manners had even done any twelves?!
Yes Badmanners have a few 12" singles in their discography I think ??? I might do a punk type festival next year and Sham 69 are definitely worth seeing 👍👍👍
Good to see you play Gary Numan. I like him much more now than I used to. A Quick One is definitely one of the Who’s best. Can Jimmy Pursey really be 70? 😮 Take care, John.
Just googled Jimmy's age....he's 68. Hopefully I'll reach that age and be full of the same vim and vigour 👍👍👍 I've been playing more Gary Numan than any other fave artist in my humble collection. He's very much underrated. I haven't heard "A quick one" since I last owned a copy of it back in the 80s.
Great finds Nick, l have that good, The bad & the 4 Skins, l haven't got the Vietnam cover one. Glad you liked Sham, shame about the idiots spoiling it, down the front. It's the Rejects last ever tour...
4SKINS are a fantastic band Mike,I'm really chuffed to have come across those 👍👍👍 I was expecting the usual pushing and shoving at the gig but one idiot just took it too far and I was getting concerned for me daughter etc... I'm glad someone got one in on him and sparked him out....it taught him a lesson 👍👍👍
Magnificent Numanoid intro👍I think Berwickshire Mike has shown some 4Skins. I've never had any, but gotta rectify that situation because from what I've heard they are the business. Every home needs a copy of X-Ray Spex. A Quick One is a bit underrated imho. Good to see the Sham have still got it. Cheers...Ben
Really pleased with these pickups Ben but I really should be busy listening to them instead of Gary Numan but I can't help my self !!! Thanks for stopping by and keep spinning those 7" singles 👍👍👍
I've never seen/heard of the XRay Spex record before,is it possibly a record store day release ??? I still haven't managed to play it yet !!! Camden is a favourite of mine and go there with an empty stomach Mike because there are so many food sellers there, you can well and truly pig out 👍🤤👍
@@nicksvinylbutty5488 not sure if it PCF proud city fathers,Who are still going,or National Cu*TS 😂 a nod to taking the piddle out of the NF 😂😂😂😂,we nicked lots of their rider beer and sandwiches as we had only the steps to the stage between the two dressings rooms 👍🇬🇧
I thought all politicians were grey no? The drumskin was indeed a bargain and something really different. I'm not very punk but I actually saw Sham 69 about a decade ago here where I live but unfortunately the venue lasted about a year and closed down leaves Aylesbury with very little going on. Craufurd arms is probably best decent local venue to me.
Crikey dont get me started on politics,my blood pressure will go sky high 😡😡😡😡 Yes that drum skin thing is a bit different and quirky 👍👍👍 I took my daughter to a craft fair at the Crauford Arms once. It looks like a great music venue but the surrounding parking was a bit naff.
@@nicksvinylbutty5488 ooooh craft fair suit you sir. Yeah parking few streets away is ok but when I've sold at record fairs there it's tricky with only that little yard in front. We'll have to try to organise a meet up sometime. Maybe next year?
Jimmy looked fantastic, love Sham 69 !
Jimmy and the gang were full of beanz and energy....great gig 👍👍👍
Bad Manners is fun stuff! Specials! A Fistful of 4Skins...what a name! 😂
4Skins....interesting play on words 😁 great band though 👍👍👍
Bad Manners good fun time music 👍👍👍

Anti Nowhere League....grand old British punk band that look like some sort of new age metal band .
4 Skins...great Oi band 👍👍👍

The drum batter would cost that alone,I'm going to punk gigs with my daughter who's 16 I'm your age💪🇬🇧
I actually played in a punk band that supported sham at the new marquee in the nineties 💪🇬🇧

My daughter wanted to go to the craft fair, she's into that sort of thing like her mum was.
I just provide the taxi service !!!
