I have the same car. No problems at all. Drove with thing, about 30 full batterys on 2S since I bought it, and I have never had any problems with it. I still recommend this cool car to my friends.
Cracking car! I got mine recently, no issues at all and suspension seems spot on! Paid a bit more though at £178.99. At the moment no lesser truck than Arrma or Traxxas - love it, fast, fun and stable most of the time! I would definitely recommend HPI! Tempted for a Quantum + now
i got a + not run it much yet, its not as fast, it is more stable, and all the weak points have been upgraded. it dosnt wanna lift the front wheels, so i feel like its not as much fun, i did think maybe a 4s esc and motor, but if the diffs are the same they probably wont like it altho maybe the center diff will mean less stress on the other two. had i known i was gonna have the money to get a xmaxx, i would have just done that in the first place. on a positive note, ive run two full packs through it before my son crashed into it with the maxx and broke a arm, so yes it will need the stronger arms, but definitly a better car for a beginner.
I've had similar issues. Servo horn, front diff gear, rear diff gear, turn buckle/tie arm , rear A arm, front drive shaft. I wouldn't mind if I'd used it a lot , but I have literally only run it 10 times. I've got it fixed again and it is going up for sale pronto. Cheaper cars I have like the FTX vantage and Zorro were cheaper , more reliable and durable .
I have the first edition one in Silver with horrid green wheels. Put Core RC 650 CST in the shocks on mine. You were lucky just breaking the rear wing, lots are saying if you have a good smack on the rear wing you'll loose half the back end. I've took the wing mount off mine, might try to fit the truck body on it. It was my first 'decent' rc but I'm afraid of how fragile they are. My DHK Cage R is so much tougher. Apart from the brushed motor that lasted about 2 packs.
It’s such a shame it could be so good I actually prefer it without the wing. I put the black zd racing wheels on in the previous videos their so grippy all it does is wheelie😂
I have the Quantum + Flux which is a completely different car. My daughter had the Quantum MT brushed and it got stripped for parts and turned into a Tamiya Rising Fighter. Everything broke on her MT and it totally ruined her confidence with it. The Quantum + Flux seems to be a better car but it still has the brittle suspension arm issues
Had issues with mine, shocks arms, driveshaft, bent shafts ( clown car ) grub screws... but my 4 year old's ( actually 3 when he got it ) got one too, i put the upgraded arms, put oil in the shocks, loctite on the grub screws and servo, hd cv's front and back, and ran it on 2s for quite a while with no problems.... was it worth it, hmm he loves it, and learnt to drive with it, hes got a traxxas maxx now. it probably cost what the maxx cost ( £600 ish ) i feel like it served a purpose. mine, lol, became a donner :(
hi there thanks for the comment the draw was for when i get to 1000 subscribers the 26th date was in case i got to 1000 subscribers before that date as i was away on holiday. i am going to draw it earlier though as 1000 was a bit hopeful. ill give the date in a video tomorrow night.
starting on 3s was probably your mistake as noob. my mate is considering picking one of these 2nd hand as his first offroader, looks pretty good I reckon
@@noobrccars4392 im scared im gonna strip the threads on the diff, where the front or rear skid plates screw up, ive done it twice now, also, if you put the wrong screw in their it goes into the diff and hits the crown wheel, the plastic is way to soft, you would think you would know when you get to the end of the thread, and have to be really trying to actually cut through into the diff... i will say again tho, after all the upgrades, on 2s it was solid, even 3s if your gentle.

Glad to hear it i did hear they’d sorted out the problems.I must admit I’m tempted by a plus as well .

Thanx. I think to start with buy a Flyhal fc610. Thinner but bulletproof 🙂

I know it could have been so good but the ftx is much better.👍

Does it do wheelies?
Yes it does do big wheelies.
Not a bad truck I just hait taking it apart or trying to get parts in a nightmare in the states lest in my area
Hi there parts aren’t too bad in the uk but I also hate taking it apart there always seams to be one or more bolts that won’t tighten up again.
