The Pooter was developed by comedian and entrepreneur, Jack Vale after he realized that all other fart noise devices on the market suck. Various fart machines have grown in popularity over the years and the whoopee cushion was invented in the 1930's. The problem with the whoopee cushion is you can't control the sound. You sit. It farts. You get what you get. And everyone knows that the electronic sound coming out of the speaker of the fart machine is fake. Jack knew that the only way to properly replicate the actual sound of flatulence is to figure out a way for air to shoot through a small hole.

A broken in pooter is a good pooter. The more I use my the better it gets
If it gets a hole it’s no good
You can repair your pooter or any other similar device with black electrical tape just put a piece of tape neatly over the hole or crack then wrap the tape neatly from top edge to bottom edge actually this should be done before even using just have to have patience for awhile breaking it in this will keep your pooter lasting indefinitely.
Gotta tell ya, it's not about the sound, it's all in the performance - your expressions, your timing, your reaction. You, sir, are a wonderful comedian. And, in a weird, unique way, a virtuoso of the instrument.
