  • On the way to storm sewers, urban rain and runoff picks up pollution like oil on the road, pesticides, dog poop, and garbage, which can wind up in our waters and harm our aquatic life. But there are things you can do to help.

    And simply rake leaves into plant beds. Saves tons of time, labor and money, and enriches the soil so it can filter more rainwater naturally.

    When it ends up in the Resevoir at your local treament plant- it is not cleaned or filtered
    - but instead - chemicals are dumped in to make it "safe."

    Hint: If you want to remain "sustainable," you might want to study the effect of Roundup (tm)
    on 'third generation fertility' studies...
