Before 1917, there WAS Communism in France, albeit for only two months. The Paris Commune ruled France after Napoleon III was deposed in 1870, almost fifty years before the October Revolution.

Yes, I'm Russian. If we talking about Nato being economically dependent - we ain't China. Our bourgeois have investments in European and/or American business, have property there and have relatives on the other side of the border. But we also have people who want to leave under socialism, people who will not take any kind of state beyond the Russian state, and small bourgeois that doesn't have connections big ones have, faith fanatics "we're Russians - God with us" and so on. War can be instigated to "clean" Russia from wrong people, and separate it into small states under the protection of one or another country. As the white movement had shown in 1917, bourgeois will rule over a small plot of land like a medieval lord under the protection of a different country. Am I not believing in the World socialist revolution? No, I still have hope in most of the countries. But seeing how some Americans interpret communism, seeing how some of them completely dispute class struggle and turn it into racial separation.
