Can one ask the question - "If a Ship of The Line (US Aircraft Carrier) is at sea, is not exposed to Chinese (and or others) travelling into/out of China during end of January and into mid February (at the time of the Chinese New Year Celebrations), with ships crew either - may/or may not - have exposure to another during Short Liberty (which would not have been China), did this Corona Virus take hold onboard and affect the number of crew reported to be sick? i would expect cases of influenza (especially with deck crew working any adverse weather conditions)- to strike and move quickly around the ship, BUT! - my suspicions became aroused when this story was broken to the outside. How, when, and over what time period did this occur?? If this virus can force a US Naval ship to dock, what else "can an enemy do" to create and/or have the same effect?
