Tanya Plibersek’s ruling on oil and gas projects in the Timor Sea is ‘out of character’

Sky News host Erin Molan says Environment Minister Tanya Plibersek’s recent ruling on oil and gas projects in the Timor Sea is “out of character”.
Ms Plibersek has ruled out any new review of oil and gas projects in the Timor Sea, despite an endangered sea snake being detected in the key energy precinct.
“Based off the minister’s past decisions - effectively blocking a NSW gold mine on ambiguous Indigenous heritage claims - I think the move is surprising and a little bit out of character for her,” Ms Molan said.
