This is a great simple, sturdy design. I'm going to build one myself for my father in law. His retirement hobby is small engine repair. I'm actually looking for ideas with a workspace that tilts a little bit to make working even easier.
BTW I'm a framer by trade, so I don't like seeing your fingers so close when nailing. If your nails are 3 1/4, keep your fingers back at least 3 1/2.😁

I would use 3/4 plywood for the top for more strength and cut a 6"hole in front of the oil drain plug so you can drain the oil ,just put a pan under the hole to collect the oil.
T-nuts would work great. Wouldn't have to get wing nut on from bottom.
I just need to know what size nail you use for this project ?
What if you removed the bottom shelf and the 2x4 frame as is(one piece) and un fasten it and slide it down off the legs and flip it over and put it back on and secure it again? 🤔
