I feel like cyberpunk was an aesthetic that was really sold with the hair and makeup, as well as the outfit. Also I wonder if the top paired with the lime green pants from the weird girl aesthetic would work to match that style more so than jeans.

Weird girl aesthetic is my life. In my early 20's I tried dressing more casual because I thought I had to be perceived a certain way now that I was an adult. Then I realized that's lame and went back to not giving in to societal conformity.
My style would be more Whimsigoth/Cybercore from this video (when I was a teen they didn't really have a name) but I have very similar experience. I tried toning down my style in my mid 20s because I felt like I needed to "look professional and more like adult". That lasted for about a year or two and now I'm back to crazy hair colours and outfits, I'm also happy to work in a field where I can freely express myself. Let your freak flag fly high.
I would love it if you did more whimsigoth looks! My personal style morphed into it before I even learned that it was an aesthetic but I’m so glad it is because I always need more inspo!

The second night lux outfit and the first barbie outfit made you look SO 80s and awesome!! Like literally the two different sides of 80s: rock n roll/motley crue/sunset strip LA and good ol neon/party/girls trip in the 80s. So good! Also loved the 90s looks as well 😍

I think the whimsigoth and indie sleaze outfits were my favorites - incidentally, I did NOT know there was a specific name for Taylor Momsen’s style, so brb while I look up more inspo. I think this video was also a really great representation of how multi-faceted your style is and how it’s grown! I’m not entirely clear on the difference between cyberpunk and cybercore but that shirt was definitely perfect for it! I know another comment referenced subbing in leather pants for this look and I agree! Either those or maybe some black cargo pants tucked into some platform boots and then your leather blazer, to really lean into the Matrix vibes. Also any pair of pants with an extraneous amount of zippers (I’m thinking specifically of Tripp NYC cargo pants, though thinking about it a lot of their clothes would probably fit this aesthetic). And I think the key with the black and neon is just “80s color scheme but make it edgy,” so you could probably mix and match them - it looks like silhouette and detailing are probably a little more important than color for this look.

Per usual, I love your approach to styling & how respectful + genuinely curious you are when learning ab diff cultures/ subgroups related to fashion 🥰🥰 !!! If you wanted to make the harajuku inspired fit more "eclectic" maybe add a colorful/ patterned sock on top of the tights? And colorful barrettes! (Or even a beret, chunky jewelry, or colorful gloves? Or two mini fan/ space buns with diff colored elastics??) In the winter time I could totally see this with your blue statement coat. Get a good pair if staple platforms and make your own accessories. personally hair clips don’t really work for me so I make my own scrunchies instead! Learn how to make candi for bracelets! I also make lots of shirt faux collars so I can layer in the summer comfortably:)
