In this drawing tutorial I share tips on how to draw scales with pen and ink. These tips can be applied to drawing with pencil, graphite, or charcoal as well. We essentially treat scales just as we would any other texture and can apply these visual effect to drawing scales or similar texture to a variety of subjects.
